Wow end of the month, know it's a short month but still where did February go??

Anyhow welcome to Catch the bug  OBG -Oldie But Goodie Thursday. Today I used  raggedy bunny  I love the cute little look of this darling bunny. I decided to use colored pencils instead of copics and love the way it colored up. It was a fun change. I also used my washi tape for the background. I am loving the simple but fun look the tapes give. I have quite a few different colors, they can be addicting..

This is a new digi image at Paper Pretties called EMERALD. Great for St. Patrick's day if you colored the greenery green like I did but you know you can use this image anytime just coloring the flowers pretty different colors. Cute darling image. Good day and welcome to Saturday's Unscripted Sketches #199 - this week is an awesome sketch, but then I love them all (except for a few that really stumped me) I love the simple look of this card. I felt I had to add the half pearls to help dress it up. It always scares me adding them, I never know where to add and when to stop or not.. But I think I made this work OK.  How do you know where to add half pearls and when to stop??

Challenge time at Paper Pretties / PWC 246 - this weeks challenge is CIRCLE CARD

I chose to use SHOW OFF an acrylic Paper Pretties image.

I am loving the colors the red/white/black/gray... love this...Oh the sentiment is from a PP digi. What came with the stamp set just did not fit what I wanted so picked through my PP digi's and already had this printed. That is why I love digi's.  My mom loved to dance and did up until she passed on 5.5 years ago and she loved this saying.

Monday at Catch the bug means ANYTHING BUT A CARD DAY and today I have this little book its 4x6 and already covered with a great paper. So it was just a matter of me embellishing the front. I love my Stella drink coffee digi image and thought her sentiment was perfect for the front. I loved using the different dies and colors. I have not embellished book covers before but think I may have to try this again.

I kept this card quite clean and simple. I found this to be a hard sketch to follow. I know my DH says it's do drab compared to what I usually make. I guess I was kind of thinking masculine..

Meet BOOK-NUT

I read a lot of book and use my kindle as my choice for reading. I sometimes miss the feel of a book but you know sometimes I actually go to turn the page as if it was paper.. I like this little guy and lugging all those books around..that's where I love my kindle, it holds hundreds of books so no broken back or heavy purse.

Hello and welcome to another great challenge at Paper Pretties PWC245

this weeks challenge is to use RED-PINK-WHITE...

 

I thought I saved the watermark of this cute little guy but can't find it.. Sorry. This is CRAZY FOR CUPCAKES.. how cute is he.  What a nice way to showcase all of those lovely cupcakes. I probably gained 5 lbs. just coloring them in... LOL

I used washi tape for the background, the little guy just looked washed out so I backed the circle with gray to kind of tie in with the elephant color and to give it some humph..

 Oh my, did I have fun with this sketch. I again used some darling designer paper and let it do the work for me. I love, love, love, when that happens. Just a lovely stamp, an epoxy heart and a die. You're done. How simple.

I just had to use the cupcake dp for the background and the doily was a must. Cupcakes are served in doilies in a lot of restaurants so it just felt right to use it. This card was so simple.

Its Humor Wednesday at Catch the bug and Feb. 8th is Kite flying day. I was to post this yesterday as Wednesday is Humor day but the actual Kite flying day is Feb. 8th. so my brain said the 8th.. oh well I guess posting it in between the dates is fine. I know it says humor Wednesday but my mind did not think humor but cute. So little Ava fairy  is holding a butterfly kite. I probably could of used Gus holding a butterfly kite which would of been humor for sure but I did not think of it till later.

And again I let the dp do the work for the card and just had to add the images, love that this can be done.

Wednesday at Paper Pretties means it's time for another challenge. This weeks challenge is VALENTINE'S CARD.  We have a new digi and sentiments at PP. this is Poochikin.. cute name huh?

 

 I chose to use him for my card today. I love the heart he's holding and the balloons tied to his tail. Makes me laugh. I love the red papers and red always seems to go good with browns so chose to use this color theme.
