I heart 2 stamp sketch challenge.. I used burnt orange card base from Tuesday morning, chocolate chip from SU, designer paper from DCWV, bird house stamp Holly Berry House stamped on very vanilla SU. Birds are MS punch. colored with pencils and clouds are my own template and blue ink.

Kristina at Kwernerdesign challenged to use 5 items on your table to make a card.

The flower was one I tried the other night for a card I just posted this weekend but it was too big and color wrong so made others to go with other card, the green square is from a card I made the other night not knowing how many of what color squares I would use and this one was left over, the heart is from a punch that does a double heart, the small one from the center was from a card last week or so and this was left over, the bird was from a card I made earlier before this card, the hello stamped piece I was going to use on another card I had made but it just did not look right and why throw away. So I am happy with what was left on my desk, and I had other to choose from but thought these would work best.

SSSC66 Sweet Sunday sketch challenge At The Sweetest Things.. Card stock is Taken with teal SU, DCWV designer paper, stamps PTI inked with orange, taken with teal and real red SU.

Three in one card challenge: SSS53 (Sweet Stop) sketch - C4C 34 (Crazy for Challenge) any card you want - OCC theme Blossoms. Card base Crushed Curry SU, K& Company & DCWV designer paper, Black, Chocolate Chip, Barely Banana, Real Red SU. Stamp set In Full Bloom SU, Words Hero Arts, flowers die PTI using tissue paper and red ink sprayed with shimmer mist, bees are buttons with backs removed. Brads not sure where I got them, and liquid pearls for flower center that are stamped.

Unscripted sketches 52 challenge, use recycle items. All items were scraps except for the card base, but then again it was the other half from card I had made before so it too is a scrap. Fabric is from Hoffman, SU card stock, Not Quite Navy, Barely Banana, Dusty Durango, Black. Mouse is from Stamp Happens, Words from Annette Allen Walkine. Colored with pencils, clouds are from my template and blue ink.

Hello everyone,

Today is Thursday April 15th and tomorrow morning I will be going out of town till Sunday to the beach (woohoo) for a ladies church retreat. I will not be posting or be able to make any cards for the challenges until I return Sunday and depending on the time it may be later in the week before I will get any cards made. (I do have a DH and two dogs) I will just have to wait and see what kind of time I have.
I want to thank everyone who visits my blog and also to those that leave comments, it keeps encouraging me to make my cards and post them. I love how it just stimulates the mind and use stamps that I have had in box's for years. I have been doing this since early 90's. There are a lot of stamps and I still keep buying can never have too many, kind of like purses. LOL.

SSSC64 The sweetest thing sketch challenge. Made flowers using PTI beautiful flower blooms die, ranger distressed inks broken china, peeled paint and fired brick to color the flowers. Card stock base is from club scrap, designer paper is DCWV and words Judith.

Two challenges one card- SSS51-The Sweet Stop using sketch & C4C32 - Crazy 4 Challenge. C4C 32 is to use 1 ribbon, 2 buttons, 3 different punches. I used tab, heart, butterfly punch and as you can see also the buttons and ribbon. Card stock is Wasabi and tempting turquoise SU, designer paper from DCWV and Club scrap and polka dot not sure who it is by. Pig stamp is Cottage stamper. Pig colored with pencils.

Our creative corner challenge using a BOW. Card stock is Kraft SU. Hearts punched out and stamp is from Dots, papers from Card Makers paper pack. Ribbon is from local store.

SSS 50 sketch challenge at Sweet Stop. Card stock is bashful blue and very vanilla SU, DCWV designer paper background, the scene stamp is from stampscape, the fish I don't remember where I got it. The clouds are made by me from my template. I used diamond glaze for the water under the fish and in under the rocks. The fishing pole and fish are from local craft store. Figured it was time for a male card with fathers day coming up before you know it.
