Oh course this card is using Stampin up products.. I again was with my friend who sells Stampin up... and I am getting quite a collection of SU products.. This was a fun card to create and I love how the balloons stamped you can see through them as you would real balloons. Fun colors and love the over size sentiment.. it still let the balloons show through.

Theme:  For a friend / friendship

I hardly ever use a stamp like this.. meaning not coloring with my copics but I am liking this just using the ink as a background and stamp the open image on it.. I added the diamond drills and sentiment. I also stamped the background card stock with a foliage stamp. I like how it came out.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Bookmarks / hobbies and include a sentiment

I decided to go for hobbies vs. bookmarks.. I never use them so thought a card would be best.

I love watching birds. We have hummingbirds all the time even in the winter. We live in the country so we have a nice variety of birds and they are so calming to watch. Last year every spring morning a bird for weeks - I am sure it's a Steller jay brings my two dogs - shih tzus - acorns. it's funny.  We don't have an acorn / oak tree around us.. I would have handfuls of them and always the same spot in the yard.. over the fall we decided to get a trail cam and see if we can see who's dropping them off for the boyz.. I don't want them to eat them and they are 3 yrs old so still learning right from wrong.. do they ever out grow that... 

The products are from Stampin up.. I love the washi tape stamps and the fun feathers.. The bird is a stamp and punch.

It's tine for a new challenge over at

Crafty Catz #717

Theme: Anything goes

I made this back in December as it's from a group of ladies who make 12 pages of a chosen month which in the end create a year long calendar.. I made 12 of these pages..

I used my Mission water colors and did a few sheets of colors and then die cut the Stampin up flowers and adhered the back to the front.. I set aside and created the background of 12 A2 size pieces of card stock. I die cut the dragonflies and stamped the sentiment and cut out.. Then I laid out and included the calendar page and liked how it came out. My friend who see these ladies all the time collected the pages and came to my house and used my book binding machine to make 12 calendar pages.. 

I look looking at each ladies creative page and get to enjoy it for a month.

This is an old stamp set from Stampin up.. I used all SU products. I stamped the snowflakes for the background and layered the dies and the scene. I like the way it came out and the pretty purples.

This was a fun card to create.. I love all the colors in this scene..  Fun dies and gives nice depth, the background is the paper and so you don't have to add all those images.. This is from Stampin up kit. I love the purple, pinks and teal. some of my favorite colors.

It's time for another challenge over at

Theme: Add 2 or 3 color blends

I had fun creating this fun card. I used Oxide Ranger inks and created the stripe. I then cut 3 flowers from Taylored Expressions and stacked them and added to the strip of blended ink. I colored another strip and using Simon Says smile die cut it out and added to the card. I love the colors and the black silhouette flower.

I love this stamp set.. I like that I made the octopus a coral color.. The embossing is sideways to make it look like water.. All products are from Stampin up.  

Love the octopus and did you see the show on Netflix with Sally Field called Remarkably bright  creatures... It was a great movie and made you cry so heart warming..

for my card I used scraps on my desk.. I have been creating a couple cards with this designer paper and had a few pieces left over so I adhered to the card. I had this green want to be flower but didn't like what I was trying to do to another card so used it and the congrats was there. So it's simple and kinda clean.. no bling.. almost one layer.

It's time for a new challenge over at

I was over at a friends house and she had this stamp set on the table.. I said let's play with this so we did and this is the results.. I like it but seems like it needs more.. I didn't want to add a sentiment as I don't know where or who it's going to.. All products are from stampin up.. Die cut the oval and square. Stamped  the flower to the die cut pieces and and then die cut the vases and added under the flower. Great way to use scraps.

Oh my I love this layered stencil set from Emily Moore Designs.. I used Ranger ink to create to flowers and leaves.. I love that you can use any colors you want with the stencils (or any stamp you want to use)

I didn't want to cover the pretty flowers so added some Stampin up gold cording and then die cut the hello from Simon says 4 times and layered to get a nice sturdy hello..

When I think of the coast and we live in Washington state so the ocean is not far from us.. I love the water and fish, shells, drift wood, seagulls and smells.. It's my grounding, peace, calm place.. 

I created this card with DSP from Stampin up and just made a simple fun card. I fussy cut the fish out from DSP.

This was a fun card to create.. The dies are from Emily Moore Design.. I borrowed this one from my friend but I do have a few of her dies and stencils.  My friend showed me how to make the birthday shinny and stand out.. Adding packing tape over the card stock and burnishing it down and then run it though your die cutting machine and how you have a shinny sentiment.  This was so simple to create since the happy birthday takes up the card. Emily does have a smaller one and I am thinking of getting that one.

Theme:  Jingle Bells - include bells

So I borrowed my friends Stampin up set and stamped the sentiment and bells and embossed.. I fussy cut the gold bells and added a little copic to them. I added the Holly leaves from Paper Trey Ink. I finished with a few diamond drills and added to the red card stock.

Theme:  add texture / embossing / ribbon etc.

I kinda make a card like this a few months back.. Like I said I love this embossing folder. I cute the card piece down and lightly went over the embossed flowers with an ink pad. I added this to the designer paper and added the sentiment.

Hello everyone 

We have a new challenge over at

Do-Al(l) Creatives #114

Theme: Box - create a box

So after watching a few You Tube videos and trying to create while my box watching the video.. I settled on this one. I had to figure the size and had to slow the video down to the slowest speed so I could create at the same time, There are quite a few folds with this one and I like how it cam out. 

I thought the front needed a little something so I added the white branch from Stampin up dies and the flower is from Spellbinder.  I cut it in white and used Stampin up ink to color. I added  half pearl to the center. I also used Stampin up ribbon. The paper is DCWV.

I am ready for it.. 

We have a new challenge over at

Theme:  C for circle

This card is from the Pumpkin box from Stampin up. It's all ready to go.. I have a friend who sells SU and she gets these boxes and shared sometimes when I go over to visit her we craft and talk, eat and repeat.. lol... this was so easy to create.. I like there is a circle in the paper a die cut circle and then a gold circle .. that is C for circle..
