Hello
We have a new challenge over at
Theme: Monochrome / Birthday
and always a sentiment
This was a fun card to create.. The dies are from Emily Moore Design.. I borrowed this one from my friend but I do have a few of her dies and stencils. My friend showed me how to make the birthday shinny and stand out.. Adding packing tape over the card stock and burnishing it down and then run it though your die cutting machine and how you have a shinny sentiment. This was so simple to create since the happy birthday takes up the card. Emily does have a smaller one and I am thinking of getting that one.

Always a joy seeing your cards, love the big bold sentiment, very nicely done. Have a great day and thanks again for playing our challenge this week. Leanne DT/KCC
This is a lovely card, Billie. I do love those die cuts as well. I’m glad you were able to borrow them from your friend. It’s great to share craft supplies like that! That is a really cool technique that she showed you using the packing tape. I’ll have to give that a try! The whole look of the card is really great. I love the monochromatic blues. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Word Art Wednesday. We appreciate your participation!
