I decided to make a z fold card as I wanted a designer paper background and these papers are from Stampin up. I colored the image with copics. I added nuvo drops to the flower centers and sprinkled glitter over the wet centers. I added to the dark green and used my corner chomper to give it a different look.  I added the heat embossed Reverse confetti sentiment and used a Tech. Tues banner die.

Hello and it's almost June... Warmer weather and great time to vacation even if it's those short trips and doing something fun.

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme:  letter D - for Dog

I made this card for my daughter .. She has a couple Corgi's and thought this would be a fun card to send to her.  I stamped the My favorite image and heat embossed the sentiment. I colored the doggie with copics and using my cloud template added the clouds with Ranger ink. I used MFT stitch die and backed with black card stock.. I added twine to the Basic Gray designer paper and added a twine layered bow.. I added the image and sentiment. I punched about 5 hearts with Stampin up punch and layered them for the thickness. I added some glossy accents but it didn't look right so I scraped it off and added some fine glitter.  I tied to color him the color of my daughter's corgi.. think it came out cute.

Theme: Watercolor and or "S"

I used Mission water colors to create the background.. I set it aside to dry. I stamped the Tech. Tues. images and butterfly. I colored with copics. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the flowers and butterfly.  I used Stampin up sentiment square and then laid out how the scene should look and then them. I finished with some Nuvo drops and sprinkles some glitter over them.

Our theme is

MAKE IT SPARKLE - GLITTER- GEMS

The sparkle on my card is the background glitter paper. I added this to a white card base. I stamped the Great impressions stamp and using copics added a little color. I used My favorite things stitch die. The sentiment is from Simon Says. I added all with foam dots. I almost added some bling but figured it would be just a little too much.

Hello

It's time for a new challenge over at

Alphabet Challenge 

Our theme this challenge is

-O- for OUTDOORS

I used a Newtons Nook stencil and texture paste to create the background. I spritzed with glitter while wet so it has a little sparkle to it. I stamped the Gerda Steiner dog and colored with copics. I used Simon Says circle die and a scrap to create the circle. I used some Stampin Up vellum and Paul Ruben metallic paints and gave it some shimmer. I adhered it behind the circle and added the doggie on foam dots. I stamped the GS sentiment and heat embossed (I used a dark copic to give color and it's lighter in the photo but in real it's darker more of a blue vs. turquoise) I added glossy accents to the collar and nose.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at 

Cardz 4 Galz #153

Our theme this challenge is

TEXTURE

There's quit e bit of texture on my card. I started with black card stock and Texture paste and stencil. While the paste was still wet before I removed the stencil I squirted some glitter over it, then removed the stencil. I sat it aside to dry. I stamped the Paula Best image and using copics I colored the image in then fussy cut the image out. I then used a small Stampin up die and die cut the butterflies it also gives an embossed design and I layered them.  Now that the background is dry I added the Stampin up ribbon and using foam dots added the frog and butterflies. I stamped the Reverse confetti sentiment and added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the frog eye and sun.

It's Friday so it's Free Friday over at

This image is called Watermelon butterfly bear  I colored the image with Copics. I used My favorite things oval die and Spellbinder die. I added to some designer paper?? I added some twine and then took some leaves I used from a SB die and colored black and added to the twine as they look like seeds. I added Glossy accents to all of the seeds to give a glossy real look. I added some glitter to the bear. The sentiment is from Simon Says.

I colored this cute image with copics. I fussy cut her out. I added glitter to her wings..  I found this scrap and used Paper Trey Ink die. I used foam dots behind the image and added to the die. I stamped the Lawn Fawn sentiment.

I am using the image called Cat topper Christmas. I colored the image with copics. I went over the bells and hat balls with glitter. I heat embossed the Tech. Tues and Simon says sentiments. I distressed the edges with Quick Quote chalk ink.  I thought the top sentiment made this card funny.

Hello.. I have a card to share for the challenge going on over at Always Fun Challenge #165

Our theme this week is LAYERS

I dug through my scrap box and just pulled out papers I liked. I then brought them over to my craft desk and started cutting them down and layering them till I found a layout I liked. I used My favorite things scrap and Quick quote scraps. I dug out my Simon Says feather die and using more scraps die cut them out. I added to the card and the little feather is on foam dots. I added a twine bow to the quills and added a little glitter over the knot area.  To me it was complete with out a stamped sentiment. I like doing that some times because this way it can be what ever the occasion is so it fits anywhere.

This image is called Ribbon Prim.. I colored the image with copics. I went over the halo and wings with some adhesive and sprinkled glitter over them. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment with Stampin up ink. I used Lil inker die. I added this to a piece of designer paper. I think it's My minds eye.. I added an epoxy heart.

Hello.. I have a card to share for the fun challenge 

going on over at Do-Al(l) creative #40

Our theme this month is ROCKER CARD

I had to U-tube to find out how to do a rocker card.. This was fun to create and make a little scene. It's awesome the way it rocks too. I used my Martha Stewart circle die template thingy.. I then used a Paper Trey Ink lacy die and Quick Quote scraps.. I stamped the Simon Says image and colored her with copics. I used Newton's nook stencil with Ranger ink for the wavy background. I went over her tail with glitter. I stamped some My favorite things coral and I had a QQ anchor that I added. The sentiment is from Simon says. I used Lil inker stitch die to cut her out and the backing piece is from Club scrap.

Hello.. It's Monday so that means another challenge at 

Always Fun Challenge #147

Our theme this week is SPARKLE

For this card I used the geometric Simon Says stamp and heat embossed with white on watercolor paper. I then used Ken Oliver color burst and sprinkled it on the paper and spritzed with water and kept doing till I got the look I wanted. I sprayed some glitter spray on the paper but it really doesn't show up enough in the photo. I set it aside to day. I then used some glitter strips and added to the card front. I stamped the My favorite things sentiment and using Ranger ink distressed the edges then added to the card. I die cut some small hearts out of the red glitter paper and added to the card. They are really hard to see. I added 3 above the red strip towards the right side and one below the green strip.. In person they are easier to see.. obviously .. lol  I love the bright colors.

String up the lights Catch the bug - Holiday Critters Chaos Day 4

Today is Day 4 of our Holiday Critter Chaos over at 

Catch the bug

Our theme today is

BINGO +  Using a critter and Christmas

This is the New release image called Christmas mouse light.. I chose the row.. Tree / Free (stencil) / Ribbon.. I started by using the Newton's nook stencil and I took texture paste and some Simon says glitter and mixed together and created the background. I set it aside to dry. I used Paper trey ink tree and DCWV paper and cut out the tree. I used Lil inker bow and added to the tree top. I used some gold ribbon around the tree and some sequins. I then colored the image with copics. I used glitter on the light center and Spectrum noir sparkle on the bulb. I fussy cut this out. I stamped the PTI sentiment and heat embossed. I used a banner die. I then added all images to the dried base.
