Hello.. It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #257

I am the host for these two weeks so I got to pick the theme..

I chose BIRTHDAY CARD FOR ADULT MAN 

This is my card. I used the image from Art Impressions. He was on a long stamp of people so I fussy cut him out. I colored with copics. I added a goosebump dot to the hat top. I stamped the sentiment and using My favorite things speech bubble added this to the designer paper.  I stamped the Paper Pretties happy birthday and then colored some My favorite things balloons and added to the sentiment. I went over the balloons and the present bow with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

Hello.. I have a card to share.. 

Today being Thursday it's OLDIE BUT GOODIE 

over at Catch the bug

I am using the image called Ava mistletoe fairy  . I colored her with copics. I used Taylored Expressions postage die. I found some no name designer paper to add the image to. I stamped the Paper trey ink sentiments and using Spellbinder dies to cut them out. I added some twine and goosebumps.

Welcome to my blog.. I am joining in on the
Coffee Lovers blog hop.. Fall/Winter theme

This is my card using a piece of scrap Quick quote background paper. I stamped the Stampin up coffee cup and then stamped the base of the coffee cup with a Hampton art all over background stamps. It's coffee words and beans... I then stamped the cozy with Simon Says sentiment. I used another scrap die cut circle from QQ and some punched leaves from Martha Stewart. I finished with some twine and goosebump gems.

Welcome back to a new challenge at

Always Happy Birthday #11  Our theme for November is BIRTHDAY ANYTHING GOES / OPT: FALL COLORS  

 

Fall colors.. Wow there are so many that can be used so I went through some paper pads (My minds eye and Basic gray)  and chose some different patterns. I used Simon Says stitch leaf die and cut out a bunch of leaves. I went around the edges with some Ranger ink. I also used SS wreath die and cut out two different colors.. well the leaves buried them.. I guess I just got carried away adding leaves. I added Goosebumps gems around the wreath. I stamped the sentiment and added this across the wreath. I rounded the corners and thought this looked like a plaque now.  I used an embossing folder on the rust card stock and then added a brad and tied the twine around it. I stapled the twine to the corners of the wood plank wreath.

The Yellow team has the new challenge for you and it is

 "O" is for OVAL

 

 

I really knew when I knew the theme was OVAL what stamp I wanted to use.. I love the Paper Trey Ink "take a moment to REMEMBER how special you are"  I just needed to make sure it fit the OVAL stitched die from My Favorite Things.. Yes it did if I lowered it enough. I don't mind the empty part at the top because I think the sentiment needs to stand out. I stamped the PTI leaves with PTI ink and die cut them out and then cut them apart to fit the oval.. I added some goosebumps just to give it some shine. I tried to add half pearls but they were to bright. I like these goosebumps. They are from Queen and Co. I took the background piece and dry embossed the large dots.

Where did September go??? This is crazy that the months just seem to be going so fast.

 

Welcome to another challenge at Paper Play Sketches #52

We have another sketch for you to try.

 

 

This is my card using the above sketch.. This card was so easy to create. I used the large sentiment which is from Simon Says and I stamped it in Stampin Up tranquil tide ink.. It's such a pretty ink color. I cut it out with a MFT circle die and then went around the edge with Ranger Ink. I then used my dot embossing folders and created the background pieces and a piece of scrap paper for the strip behind the circle.  For the little piece in the upper right corner I just added some leaves from Stampin up and Martha Stewart. I added a leaf below the sentiment and then added some goosebump gems to the card. This for sure is a fall feeling card.

I love playing along with the Coffee lovers blog hop.. I did during the summer and it was so much fun.

Now I am playing with the Fall Coffee Lovers bloghop

 

 It was a beautiful day in the pacific northwest so I took advantage of it and stamped a bunch of coffee related images and took them out to the deck and my Mission paints and painted.. After dinner I sat and watched TV and cut the images out.. Yup I don't have dies for everything..  I kept thinking I need to make a fall coffee card now.. HUM... So I sat down with my 16 oz. (second one today) coffee and pondered. Ok fall.. wreaths.. Ok I have a wreath die.. So I went in grabbed three brownish papers and using my Simon Says wreath die cut them out.. I layered them straddling the three colors but the background looked too plain so took my Ranger ink and just swished some color behind the wreath..then I adhered the wreath.. I then grabbed the leaves I fussy cut and added the two above and three below and the to go coffee cup which I added the cup with foam tape. Oh the leaves and coffee cup are also Simon Says. I felt I needed something above so grabbed the Queen and Co. goosebumps and added three black ones. The sentiment which plays perfect with the coffee theme is from Tech. Tues. they have awesome sentiments when I need them.

It's Sunday and we are back from winter break and ready for a new challenge at

Below is the sketch that you need to follow..

This is my card using the Bugaboo image called Mini block dog set There's 7 dog images in the set.. so it's a good deal. I chose this cute little image and colored him and used my black sharpie to outline the spots I drew on him. I added some Amy Tangerine designer papers and dry embossed a strip of blue and stamped the sentiment from Rubber baby buggy bumpers.. I added some goosebumps in the left corner.. I colored the image with copics and die cut with a Spellbinder die.

This is the fun imaged called AKV deer... this little guy is so cute.  It's quite a simple card and you can make it even simpler or not..

I used a Kraft strip and stamped Simon Says sentiment and used Quick Quote ink to distress the edges. I used Simon Says stitch die and My Favorite Things circle die and cut the image out. I colored the image in Copcis using various browns.. I die cut the holly from Paper Trey ink and used a little Quick Quote ink to give some depth. I die cut the pretty leaves with Stampin Up die set. I then added some goosebumps to the holly and called it quit.  I love the look. I hope you pick up this fun image.. Since it's too late for this years Christmas you'll have next years image.

Welcome to another fun Free Friday from Bugaboo Stamps ... You can see the projects the design team made up at Catch the bug.

 

This is the fun Free Friday called Santa Ho Ho Ho..  I fussy cut the image out and added him to my Postage stamp die from My favorite things. I had a scrap piece from a project I plan to do for our Christmas Chaos.. just trying to get my ideas in my head on paper so this was a sample.. We'll see how it comes out.LOL. I added a strip of stitch scallop die below the sentiment which all are from Simon Says I then added some half pearls to his coat and goosebumps to the lower right corner.. Ink is from Stampin up and  Santa is colored in copics.  If you're looking for a quick fun Christmas image this would be perfect to pick up and free is all the better.
