Happy Little Stampers Watercolour challenge

Our challenge is 

ANYTHING GOES - WATERCOLORED

For my watercolored project I tried the bokeh technique.. I used Prima watercolors and painted the background with various colors of green.. It dried a lot lighter.. I used a wet brush to try to lift some of the paint to give the bokeh effect. Once this was dry I used some dark paint and painted the branches.  I did the highlight with Bleed proof white on the branches and then dotted the ends of the branches to give a flower look. Once this was all dry. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment. I need to practice on the bokeh tech. but overall I like it.

I dug through my 6x6 pads and found these wonderful papers from Cosmo Cricket.. I created the background. I then stamped the Pretty Pink Posh images and water-colored with Prima paints. I added the glasses to the little boy and added glossy accents to the glasses and apple.

Our letter this challenge is

K - KRAFT

For my card I wanted to keep the Kraft showing as much as possible. I used a stencil and Ranger inks and added the heart colors, I then used texture paste and went over the hearts. I set it aside to dry. I stamped the Stampin up image and colored with copics. I used a Spellbinder die. Once the hearts were dry I added the image.

For my card I used some leftover products from Quick Quote.. (I test their scrapbooking kits before they go out to the public so I get a lot of left over products and scraps) Everything but the base is from QQ. and the chalk ink which I love.. So I for sure covered the 3 of anything theme..

It's time for a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #303

Our theme is

STENCILS

    I used 3 stencils.. Simon Says (grass), My Favorite things (bricks), Netwons Nooks (paw prints) I started with a Kraft base then using Ranger ink created the scene with the three stencils. I used Mission gold watercolors to paint the Sugar Peas doggies. I added them with foam dots and used a SS heart die and the bone from the stamp set. I stamped the sentiment from the set with Stampin up ink. I thought the wall looked a little bare so I added the small Stampin up die butterflies and added a left over diamond painting drill/diamond to their centers.

Challenge #528

This is my card using the cute image Birthday Girl from All Dressed Up. 

I colored her with copics. I went over the cake and her bows with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I used My favorite things stitch die. I added her to a piece of scrap and using part of the sentiment from Simon says and Stampin up I added the sentiment.

For my card I used My favorite things stamps. I colored with copics. I cut the image down and used a little red behind the image and added some My favorite thing snowflakes with some scraps. I added this to a piece of designer paper. I added some white gel pen to the dog sweater and her dress. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle to the lights. I heat embossed the sentiment and used Tech. Tues. banner die.

For my card I used Simon Says images. I masked and stamped. I colored with copics and used my cloud template upside down to get the wave look using Ranger inks. I used a white gel pen and some Spectrum noir sparkle on the mermaid, seahorse and fish. I added some diamond drill bling. I heat embossed the sentiment.

I am using the image from Pattie's creations.. This is Fisherman's delight..  I colored with copics. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle to the trout. I used My favorite things stitch die then stamped the Simon Says sentiment. I then added this to a piece of brown scrap that I had in my stash. I then added this to the Stampin up purple. I die cut the Spellbinder fishing hook which I die cut 4 times and stacked. I added the thread -line to the hook.  Fishing can surely be the lazy days of summer.. Fishing is good anytime.

Our theme is

GET A LITTLE DIRTY / ADD DISTRESS

For my card I used a Stampin up background stamp and Ranger ink. I cut the orange Quick Quote scrap with My favorite things die and heat embossed a Club scrap happy birthday. I stamped and heat embossed the Stamp francisco and used Ranger ink to distress the edges along with the circle and Stampin up star. I used a copic blue pen to add color to the love. I finished with a few diamond painting drills. Thought would make a great masculine card. I call my hubby - Love - all the time.

I am using this daisy fairy image. I colored with copics. I backed on some gray stampin up card stock then onto a piece of Cosmo Cricket designer paper. I didn't add a sentiment because it can be used for quite a few girly situations..

For my card I dug through some Christmas looking papers. I cut the two in half and then using this awesome bright red card stock I heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment with antique gold powder and used My favorite things stitch die.  I used some scraps and this SS present die and added it to the card. Kept it kinda CAS.

SPOTLIGHT TECH. 

I have neve done this spotlight tech. before and I rather enjoyed it. It was fun stamping cutting coloring and adding the piece over the top. I kinda wanted to make it bigger the spotlight area but I would of lost the side flowers.  I will do this tech. again. The stamp is Simon Says and I heat embossed the sentiment and fussy cut around it. I used My favorite things circle die. I added a few diamond drills.

ATC + LOVE

This is my ATC - an Artist Trading Card which measures 2.5X3.5

I used to make these ATC's all the time. My dear friend who has since passed away started an ATC club. We would make them and exchange within our club so everyone got one that was the same. So we'd have a theme and if there were 8 members we made 8 of same ATC.. it was awesome creating such a small piece of art.

For this one I stamped the Great impressions hearts with Stampin up ink. I then went over a few of the hearts with Versa mark brush and the others then all of them with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I used a little Quick quote chalk ink and distressed the edges. I backed onto the red designer paper then onto the 2.5x3.5 white card stock. I stamped the Mama Elephant image and using Mission gold watercolors. Then the die and added her with some foam dots.
