I've never made a slider card before and it was a learning experience. The image slides but I think I should of added a little more foam tape. But you can push her. Can't wait to see what you all create.

Theme:  Heels and Hand bags

I thought I had a handbag designer paper but don't so it's just heels for this card.. I used Waffle flower stamps and copics to color the gems on her shoes with a half pearl in the center. I used a copic pen to give some color to her feet. I added a strip of My favorite things paper and the sentiment from same stamp set and used MFT die.

It's Monday so you know what that means... It's another fun challenge over at Always Fun challenges.

 

Our theme for this week.. INSPIRED BY A MOVIE..

 

This is my card... Can you tell what movie inspired me????  Yup.. Wizard of OZ..  I started with Tim Holtz brick stencil and two Oxide inks. I used Waffle flower stamps - I stamped the feet and colored with copics. I stamped the shoes on red glitter paper and cut the shoes out. I stamped the sentiment on the bricks and heat embossed the rest of the sentiment on a piece of scrap. I cut the piece down a little and added foam behind the panel and layered on a card base that is a little bit bigger. It's hard to see as it's white on white.  Hope I can inspire you to play along.

As you like it - layers - one or many (depends on the image and theme. For this card it's really one layer but I cut the glitter paper for the shoe and adhered down. Still comes out as a one layer card.

It's time for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers blog hop..

 

Here is another card for this hop. I was digging through my stamps and saw this set (cat, chair, coffee cup) from Waffle flowers and knew I needed to create my card. I colored the images with copics and die cut out. I then saw this designer deer paper so thought would be a cool background. Found a piece of red for the carpet. I then used the Taylored Expressions fireplace die and scraps and cut them out. For the brick background I used MFT stencil and Ranger ink and created the inside piece. I love the cat resting and drinking coffee in front of the fire.. Oh the flames have Stickles on them. The sentiment is from Tech. Tues.. That is my thought... Coffee now. conquer the universe later..

This is a perfect theme again .. I don't know how many times I've rushed to make a Get Well card cause I don't have any on hand. OR use some other card I've made and just written Get Well inside.. Well if you're the same then this is the perfect challenge for you to play in..

I have this awesome sentiment from Art Impressions and haven't used it for a long time if ever. I have a funny turtle image that does with it but I've been wanting to used this Waffle Flower stamp set with the cat. I don't know how else to use this funny cat on it's back so that is why I thought this would be perfect. I stamped the chair and cat from WF and the flowers from Lawn Fawn and painted with Mission water colors. I die cut them out and then put my card together. The get well soon is from LF.  I hope however I give this card to will make them feel better soon.

Well it's month 3 for the Monika and Billie challenge between just her and me..  Monika's time to chose a theme and she chose SHOES.. Now if you have seen her blog she does a lot of shoe cards.. I only have  a sneaker shoe but did not want to use it so I bought the Waffle Flower first step shoe and die.. The only thing that is die cut is the shoe embellishments. I stamped the shoes and sentiment and colored the shoes with copics. I die cut the embellishments and colored them and added to the shoes. The right side was a little bare so  I added a ribbon. It felt weird as I usually add ribbons to the left side but I  didn't want to leave such an open space. I am happy with the card.  Please look at Monika's blog Creative with Monika and see what she did.. I know I am heading over soon and see.. Sure it's awesome as usual.
