Hello.. I am using the image called Mad Hatter.. I colored her with copics. I used some scraps and club scrap brown texture paper. My favorite things stitch die and Stampin up die to cut out the Stamp Simply sentiment. Finished with an enamel dot and white gel pen..

Hello friends.. Welcome to my blog and I have a card to share for the challenge over at Aud Sentiments #227

 

Our theme this challenge is SUMMER

I am using the cute image Summer fun Owen.. I first started by using watercolor paper and some samples of Daniel Smiths paints and painted the background. I then let it dry while I colored the image with copics. I fussy cut him out then found this Simon says sentiment and sun so using Stampin up ink stamped both of them. I finished by added Owen with some foam dots.

I am using the image Reindeer Ellie with Ornament.. I colored her with copics and used Lil inker stitch die. I found some scraps of paper so created the back ground. I used My favorite things banner die and using PTI sentiment and Stampin up ink I stamped the sentiment. I added a ribbon and tied a knot at each end. I used PTI holly and SU ink to create the holly. I added some red Stickles for the berries. I went over  the bows, and ornament with Wink of Stella.

This is my card using the image called "Emma daisy". I colored the image with copics and used my cloud template. I used My favorite things stitch die. I adhered this to the plaid paper using foam tape. The sentiment is from Annette Allen Watkins. I added this as a banner and then finished with sequins.

I am using the fun image Little Witch Ellie  I started by creating the background with some Kuretake Gansai Paints and set it aside to dry. I then die cut the image out using a Simon Says stitch die. I colored the image with Copics. I have this cute spider that doesn't have a name on the block. It's quite old. The sentiment is acrylic but again no name on the container I have it in.  Sorry.. This card is really CAS.

Middle of the month.. and another two weeks for our challenge at Inspiration Destination #132

 

Our theme this two weeks is ANYTHING GOES

I am using the image called Be Happy... I have so many spools of Washi Tape.. so decided to take a green card stock and lay down two different black and two different yellows and leave a small space between so the light green shows through. On the light tapes I layered them twice so they weren't so see through.. I used a Spellbinder scallop die and cut the image out. I colored her with copics in the black/grays and yellows. I added some Spectrum Noir glitter pen to her wings, antenna, shoes and black ruffle part of her dress and bow.. I used the My Favorite Things sentiment embossed with Stampin Up black and a few sequins.  I wish you could see the glitter pens shine. So pretty.. Welcome to another two week challenge at Aud Sentiments #181  

our theme for this challenge is

SUMMER + SENTIMENT

 I am using the image called Snorkel Ellie.. I fussy cut her out and colored her with copics and pencils in a few places. I then used water color paper and Ranger inks and created the sand, water and sky. I added some drops of water and dried the background. I then colored the dog (Lawn Fawn) with copics and used a terry towel with colorless copic to give texture and the seagull (?) I colored the seagull with Prisma pencils..  I used an EK punch for the flip flops. I made a slit in the sand and stood the flip flops up so they looked like they are stuck in the sand. I added some stamped seagulls (?) and heat embossed in white on vellum the Simon Says sentiment. To finish it I used Sequins to give sparkle to the water area..  If you need inspiration please head over to the Aud Sentiments site and see what the DT created.

This is my card and I am using Ice Cream Avery... Cute little girl and fun just in time for summer.. I could and do eat ice cream year round and do.... I need to eat it during the day.. I have issues having it at night.. bummer. but sleep is more important than ice cream..  I took my card base and added the yellow and red water color paint and splattered blue (on the card ... my desk and anything within shot.. dang those spots can sure fly).. I dried it and then used copics to color the image and staying with the water color painted colors. I used My favorite things stitch die and cut her out. I added some Spectrum Noir glitter pen to the ice cream, boots, belt. I heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment with Stampin Up black embossing powder. After I adhered the image I added some My minds eye and Ek stickers to the card.

This is my sweet card. I really had fun making the background. I did a similar background last month for Catch the bug kitchen chicken.. So thought I would do it again but this time not color in the images. I think I like it better. I did do the stars and hearts in color. I used a postage die I got from Monika at Creative with Monika.. (she sent me some of her postage die cuts papers and I sent her some of mine..which are a little different looking) Any how I colored the image with copics and used some different elements from Simon Says to give the table and background behind her some interest. The card background is Taylored Expressions cooking items and sentiment and Simon Says stars and hearts.

Welcome to another challenge at Aud Sentiments #175

Theme is Spring / Easter + Sentiment

This is my card using the image called Avery in rain poncho.. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do but knew I didn't want to do an Easter card so I dug through my stamps and found the "hello spring" by Simon Says.. then found the "you fill my day with Sunshine" also by Simon Says and it had this cute sun but I already die cut the image from a My Favorite Things rectangle die.. So I used temporary tape and stuck it down and embossed the sun on the card back and the rectangle, then took Ranger inks and did the background and rectangle using my sponging tool. I added some water spots to the sky part of the card. Then I colored the image with my copics and put the card back together.. The sun looked plain so I added some fun sequins to the center of the sun. I added the sentiments and some more sequins below.
