Alphabet challenge - J - my lunch is ready

Hello everyone

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme: J for jump, anything that jumps,

frog, rabbit, kangaroo, cat, bug....

I had this green piece I made years ago on a jelly plate.. so I stamped the frog and die cut him out and the bugs all from Tech. Tues. I colored the bugs with copics. I kinda tried creating a water scene but it was working out so I ended up using a My favorite things circle die and just cut the blue piece. I used Spellbinder oval and cut for a lily pad and added a little weed looking grass and put it all together and then found this DCWV paper.. and thought it looked perfect for the background. I know who this is going to and can't wait to send it ...

Theme: Snow in August / Christmas

I found this old DCWV paper and thought it's pretty and very winter - Christmas feel.. I found this other paper with the sentiments on it and cut it so the red seasons greetings was center. I used a Marvy punch and did a few snowflakes and added a diamond painting drill to the centers.

It time for a new challenge over at

Theme - Chocolate

I thought about this theme for awhile... but thought my not use chocolate as a color vs. candy.. I love dark chocolate and I had some on my desk but not as a stamp.. lol... 

I used DCWV and paper as the background.. I stamped the Simon says ice cream and colored with copics. I used a Paper trey ink fancy circle die.  finished with a Tech. Tues. banner which I stamped the Simon says sentiment.

I wasn't sure what to do as I don't have Christmas stockings... But digging through my Christmas box I found this sock from Simon Says and the cat from Mama Elephant and so I stamped them and colored with copics. I used a My favorite things circle die and used DCWV dp tree background..

I am using the Clematis Trellis image. I colored with copics and added to a piece of pink card stock then the DCWV green. I stamped the Simon says sentiment and added a  few diamonds of the same color to the card.

I was looking through all my stamps and trying to figure something for Art deco... and couldn't find anything, so next was the papers and came across this one and thought perfect. It reminds me of Art deco wall paper.  DCWV has so many choices of papers and I have quite lots of those large pads. I like how it came out.  hope it inspires you to create

Hello and hope you're doing well

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: use a Stencil

I took a light blue piece of Quick Quote scrap and used a stencil (not sure where it's from) I used Ranger ink in blues and added till I got a look I liked. I had this flower that I stamped when  I was over at a friends house and I don't know who it's by.. I colored with copics and fussy cut it out. I had a scrap of DCWV laying on the table so added it and stamped the sentiment and used Stampin up die.  I went over the flower with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added a few half pearls

Last minute Manda

I am using the image from Last min Manda - Chris- moose 6

I colored her with copics and fussy cut the image out. I used DCWV snowflake paper and Quick Quote papers to create the background.  I stamped the sentiment from Stampin up. I added a few crystal bling gems..

This image is so cute and it looks cozy and fun.. The image is from Gillian Roberts I colored with copics. The sentiment is from Simon Says stamped with Stampin up ink. I used a die without a name and added to the top to fill the space and used copics to give color and added a diamond drill to each berry. I added to a piece of Stampin up card stock and then mounted on a DCWV card stock.

Hello - hope you're staying warm and well

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Guyz #357 

Theme: Wheels

I used the VW van from Stampin and stamped on a scrap. I used copics to add a little color and then I cut out the windows. I added it to a piece of white paper and used a Spellbinder circle die. I added to this cool DP that reminded me of the 60 / 70's and I punched out some Stampin up flowers and added. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and I used a Tech. Tues. die. I added diamond drills left over from Diamond paintings I am doing to the center of the flowers..

Time for a new challenge over at

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #164 

Theme: Sentiment as focal point

I used DCWV paper as the background. I used Vellum and stamped the Stampin up sentiment with Stazon. Set it aside to dry as I work on the rest of the card..  I used My favorite things leaves and colored with Copics. I punched out some flowers from two different red with Stampin up punch. I added the vellum wrapping around to the back of the card and added the flowers along the side to hide the adhesive and added the piece to the with card base. I finished with some diamond drill crystals.

Theme: hand made ornament or ornaments

So..... I used the Stampin up punch AGAIN. I can't help it.. with so many pretty papers it's not hard to chose the punch again. I used DCWV papers and love the glitter and colors. I added to the background which I stamped Merry Christmas from Denami designs. I added twine and a few diamond painting drills to the top of the ornament.

Hello everyone. Happy June 1st.

Our theme: Animals

For my card I used Stampin up image and My favorite things grass die. I used DCWV designer paper and cut strips of brown to create the frame. I added the grass to the yellow square and stamped the cute hippo on gray cardstock and added a little color with my copics. I finished with the sentiment also from SU and used my Tech. Tues. die.

I used some DCWV papers and used the Lil Inker embossing stitch die for the base. I used Stampin up ornament punch and created 5 ornaments. I used SU twine. The sentiment I stamped on a Tech. Tues die and added some Ranger ink. I love the masculine look of the card.

I got this Stampin up die and stencils from Stampin up. I used SU ink and created the flowers. I die cut out and added to the DCWV DP.. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush and finished with the SU sentiment and diamond drills.. I love this stencil set.

I am using the image Bunny's bike.  I colored with copics. used Spellbinder die and added to a piece paper I used Ranger ink to darken. I added to DCWV dp. Theme: Non traditional colors

Who would of thought black Christmas tree dp but I obviously have it. I took my stamp set from Stampin up and stamped the image and used Kat Scrappiness die and cut it out. I cut a white piece to put behind it but I didn't like it white so I took Ranger ink and smeared it over the die cut. I added to the card and finished with Nuvo drops on the tree. I feel this is non traditional colors.

Theme: Humans with animals

I used Stampin up images. I was digging through my stash and found a couple. I stamped the dog and boy and thought needed more so stamped the cute tree/greenery and bird.. A nice spring day walk with your best friend.. I colored with copics and added the SU sentiment. I went around the sky with Ranger ink and added the card to a DCWV base.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Z - zoology

For my card I used DCWV paper for the background and frames. I used Spellbinder dies to create the frames. I stamped the Stampin up images with SU ink. I added the happy birthday to one of the cut out pieces and used a punch to make it smaller. I added everything to the card base and added some diamond drills.
