This is Glamorous Rita.. I colored her with copics.  I added some blue to her hair to give her a fun in style look.. (I just stay with the natural gray that I've earned over the years).. I added some white dots to her dress with a gel pen. I used a gold pen for the tassels on her earrings and star.. I used Kat Scrappiness die and added to some scraps I found in my scrap box. I finished with a Tim Holtz snarky sentiment and some diamond drills.

Isn't this the cutest little doggie.. The image and sentiment are from Imagine That.. I colored the image with copics and added some silver glitter pen to the head band, shirt and wrist band.. I added to some scraps of designer paper from Quick Quotes. There was a brad in the one card so left it there. I agree with his sentiment..

Our theme is

This is my card for the challenge. I used the image called Little Polly collecting flowers.  I colored the image with copics.  I used a silver gelli pen to give dots to the dress and bow.  I used Ranger ink and my cloud template. I added to some scraps and ran the pink through an embossing folder. I added the Simon says sentiment which I heat embossed. I added some enamel dots.

Yup... I did it again.. I am on another design team..

Guest designer for 6 months... woo hoo me...

I am now a member of the Crafty Sentiments Design team

I am so excited. So today is my first day.

I am using the image called Blitz with present. I colored her with copics and went over the present with a white and silver gel pen. I then mounted her on a piece of black card stock. The flower background is the Simon Says background stamp. I stamped it in Ranger blue and then went over the card with Ranger green. I wasn't really pleased with the way it came out but then when I added the image over the top I liked what did show so I used it. I added the Reverse confetti sentiment and some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.

Life is better when you laugh

This was a fun card to make.. I needed a laugh and it delivered... I chose another old wood rubber stamp this one is from Love you to bits... I have no idea what I was thinking when I bought this image many years ago.. but here it is and I think he looks cute now. I used Inktense water color pencils and kinda went with the rainbow colors and colored him in. I added glossy accents to the eyes, and three body parts that have the small circles (glossy is only on dots). I used a white gel pen for the teeth. I used a scrap piece of designer paper My favorite things stitch die and tied a piece of twine to one side. I added a Tech. Tues. sentiment and using a gelly pen added some dots and lines to the corners.  This is such a fun card and yes "Life is better when you laugh".

Happy Birthday - Catch the bug Free Friday

It's Friday and at Catch the bug it's Free Friday..

 This image is just in time for our 8th Birthday Bash that starts tomorrow January 13-19 and the theme is BIRDS, BUTTERFLIES & BIRTHDAY WISHES

 

 

This Free Friday image is called Penguin Cupcake.. I used a large dot embossing folder for the background and a My Favorite Things oval stitch die to cut the image. I colored the image with Copics and added some Gelly Roll pen dots to the frosting on the cupcake. I stamped the Hero Arts birthday sentiment and went around the edge with Quick Quote chalk ink. I added a few clear sequins but they are hard to see. This is a very bright colorful card.
