We have a new challenge over at 

Aud Sentiments #323

Theme: Glitter and bling or St. P. Green

So for my card I made a calendar page. I do this every year as a group of 12 friends (some I know and some I don't) we each pick a month and make 12 of that month and then my friend gathers everyone's pages and then she uses my binding machine and puts the year together. So this is my page. 

I water colored the background and then took a Simon says over all stamp and lightly stamped it. I watercolored green a couple papers and when dried I used a heart die from Stampin up and cut enough for the 12 pages. I have a die from Tech. Tues which is wholes.. and I just cut pieces to give interest. I took a button and twine and stamped the sentiment and used TT banner die. I used left over from the heart paper and cut stems. Then it's a matter of putting pieces together. This is the outcome. I like it.

Theme: National teddy bear day

Oh what a fun card to create. I used Reverse confetti bear and coffee cup and colored with copics. I found these scraps of designer paper from Quick Quotes and created the background. The scene was missing something so found this pot from My favorite things and painted with Prima wc. I dug through my die cuts and added the leafy plants. ..

Theme: J - for Juvenil / young person

I used scraps to create the background. I stamped the My favorite things images and used Prima watercolors. I die cut out and added the sentiment . It was a pretty simple piece to create and love when things just come together. Some kid will enjoy it I hope... but probably what the gift more so... who knows.

Theme: C - CAR

I used a scrap of dp and sorry not sure who it's from for the background. Thought it looked like a good scene background. I stamped the Stampin up car and colored with copics. It had balloons coming off the car but I didn't like the look so I cut them off and stamped the My favorite things balloons and used Prima WC and die cut and added them to the car. I used a scrap of MFT dp for the road.  I stamped the Simon Says sentiment.

Theme: anything goes / for a boy

I stamped and used Prima WC and copics to color the Pretty Pink Posh images. I had a left over frame and used it to feature the images. I thought the background paper was good for a boy card. It's a scrap. I added the images and sentiment.

Theme: Watercolor and or Spring

I taped down my watercolor paper and stamped the Stampin Up sentiment. It's an old set. I then painted with Prima wc, the three colors, let it dry and repeated. I let that dry and then took the Paul Ruben metallic and painted the flower and added gold splatters. I love the way it came out

Our theme is 
City Scape

I used the Stampin up houses and added a touch of color with Ranger ink. I cut some hills of snow. The snowmen and girl are painted with Prima paint. Used Pretty pink posh. The sky looked plain with just nuvo drops as snow so I added the SU snowflake that kinda looked like a star.

Our theme is

Wreaths

For my card I chose this cool paper I had. I then used Impression obsession wreath die and then added the images. The Santas are from Mama Elephant and used Prima watercolors, the marvy punch snowflakes and die cut the holly leaves and used diamond drills for the berries and center of the snowflakes. I added the Merry Christmas to the center.

Gift Tag / packing and or Christmas 

This is what I came up with. I used a tag die from Marianne using some DCWV paper. I stamped the Santa's from Mama Elephant and used Priam watercolors. The sentiment is in this set. I finished with some ribbon and twine.

Our theme this month is

Anything goes / Embossing

I had a dream about this card... so got up and made it. I was surprised I remembered it after a night of sleeping..  I used Ranger ink and did a soft background. I then used this awesome embossing folder and love the look. I used watercolor paper and Stampin up leaves and Altnew watercolor to give color to the leaves. I let them dry and then used the dies .  I stamped the fox from Sugar pea and using Prima watercolors painted him and die cut out.  I love that he's raking up the leaves. I added the sentiment and some bling.

Oh how I wish is was on a tropical island. I love the water and heat.. 

Can't be there so I created it.. 

I stamped the My favorite thing hula girl and using my Mijello watercolors created the background.  I used Prima watercolors to paint her.

I got to pick the theme so it's

Anything goes / Watercolor background

I love creating watercolor backgrounds. I used Prima watercolors and created this, I added the black drops.. I didn't want to do too much to cover them up so thought I would use the Stampin up dies. I used the scalloped die from Spellbinder for the ground area.  I also heat embossed the sentiment, I like the way it came out.

I decided to create a winter Christmas scene.  I used Prima watercolors and created the background and Die cute the houses from Stampin up. I softly colored them and cut the ground slopes, I finished with bleed proof white snow and few blings.

Time for a new challenge over at 

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #152

Our theme is

Build a snowman

So to start I had to think what was I going to do.. So started with watercolor paper and prima watercolor and just created a background.. I let it dry for a day then splattered bleed proof white all over it..  Now what am I going to do????? Build a snowman.. that's the theme. I cut a couple circles and using Ranger ink gave a little color to soften the white of the paper.. I found some branches and added them and some diamond drills from left over diamond paintings.. now the head, I cut another circle and it was too big so  using scissor I cut it a little smaller and laid it down. added more diamonds for the face, a copic nose.. I thought it needed a hat so I die cut Tim Holtz. I cut a small orange scrap and wrapped it around for hat band..  I cut the two deer out of scraps.. the background just needed something. Their saying.. what's that crazy lady doing?

hello.. Well is fall in the air in your part of the world?  Kids getting back to school soon, and soon the holidays will be coming. I hope you had a great summer. 

Today we have a new challenge over at 

Happy little stampers watercolor 

Our theme is 
Anything goes / opt. layers

This is such a fun way to create an awesome background. I saw it months ago and tried again. Sorry don't remember who I first saw do it.. 

I took watercolor paper and just did some colors I thought would look good together and just brushed them all over the paper.  I set it aside to day for a couple days.. then I took an embossing folder and the flat side I smeared black in on it and then I carefully laid the painted side down in the black ink and added a couple pieces washi tape to hold in place and closed the raised side to close it. Run it through your machine.. then when you open it you have this beautiful piece. 

I didn't want to cover it with any images so just went for the sentiment and 3 gems..

Time for a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Our theme is

K - Kitchen - anything related to food

I used some awesome 3-D stickers.. Home sweet home for the kitchen and the heart because the heart of the home is the kitchen and where awesome meals are made and awesome sweet foods. I love cherries and to me this is a cherry pie made from the heart of the house.. the kitchen. We have a few cherry trees in our little orchard and we picked a bunch of our cherries and I made cherry sauce. It's good over ice cream,  I put on my yogurt most mornings. Good on Swedish pancakes.. Oh the background I just took Prima watercolors and  spritzed with water after I added some colors just to make a lose color effect. Once dry I spattered some black paint and let it dry before I added the stickers.

We have a new challenge over at 

Happy little stamper - watercolor

theme... ANYTHING GOES WATERCOLORED/ opt. HAPPY

I started by creating a card and thought why not use this for my calendar page so this is what I did. 

For years now a group of us ladies make 12 calendar pages  and then my crafty friend uses my Cinch binder machine and puts all the pages together of all our assigned months and we get a lovely fun 12 month of joy to look. This is my image before I added the Aug. calendar.. Below is the finish product. 

I used Stampin up images and dies. I used Prima water colors to create 12 backgrounds and water colors strips of watercolor paper so I could die cut the flowers, grasses and tub for the flowers. I added some diamond drills to some of the flowers. I used copics to color the hippo.. 

    This is the finished page along with everyone elses awesome pages to look at and enjoy each month. When the calendars were put together I got a different one than the one above.. so you can obviously see there were 12 different ones.. lol

Happy Little Stampers Watercolor

Our theme is always

ANYTHING GOES / WATERCOLORED / opt. BRIGHT

For my card I smooshed Ranger inks down and dried and repeated till I got the look I wanted. I then took some Prima watercolors and spattered the paints. I took some Stampin up card stock and usnig Spellbinder scallop die and ran it through a Stampin up embossing folder. I stamped the Tech. Tues. image and sentiment and colored with copics. I finished with some left over diamon drills.
