This is the sketch for you to follow..


I am using the fun image called funny pup.  I used Basic Grey papers and embossed the sentiment and paw prints from My favorite things. I colored the image with copics and added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to his eyes and collar.

happy birthday - Alphabet challenge X

Hello

We have a new challenge over at 
Alphabet Challenge Blog

This challenge is letter X
X EXTRA FOLDS


I stamped the Power Poppy cake on Kraft card stock. I colored with Copics. I stamped the Happy Day on the banner. I went over the dots on the cake with Nuvo drops. I used My favorite things oval stitch die. I used some Ranger ink to give color to the background. I added the image to the front. 
Now for the extra fold.. I took a slightly smaller A2 and added to the inside of the card. See below photo


the inside fold is on the right side. You can still open this flap to get to the inside of the card. I used Judi Kins balloon stamp and Quick Quote chalk inks and stamp quite a few balloons. I added some bows/strings to the balloons. I used Hero Arts sentiment to this page. I kinda did the dots on the cake with similar colors to the balloons just to tie it together.



 Challenges:

As you like it - reason to send a card (to celebrate some ones day and brighten their day with a fun card letting them know you're thinking of them.

I am using the image called Questioning.. I colored the image with copics and fussy cut the image out. I dug through some Gelli plate pieces I created years ago and found this colorful piece. I added this to my card base. I used scraps and die cut the My favorite things tree. I added the tree to the card and added a green scrap along the bottom more for grounding.  I stamped and heat embossed the MFT sentiment. I added the giraffe and cut the edge off to fit the card better. I also added him with some foam dots to give more depth.

Our theme for this challenge is
MOTHERS DAY / FOR A SPECIAL PERSON DAY

I used my dry wall mesh and Ranger ink to give a little color to the background. I then stamped the Simon Says image and sentiment. The Mom is from Paper trey ink. I colored the image with Copics. I added some sequins and Nuvo drops.

Happiest of birthdays - Guest Designer - Krafty Chicks

Well this weeks my last at being a Guest Designer at

It's been a wonderful time. I've totally enjoyed my month. Thank you Krafty Chicks.

Our theme this week is 
ANY OCCASION

For this card I used a Penny Black red rubber stamp and Marvy markers and scribbled over the image and then huffed and stamped. I stamped the Simon says sentiment. I found some Pebbles Fresh designer paper and added to the side. I cut a strip of dark purple Stampin up card stock and added this to the DP.  I added some sequins and topped with some Nuvo drops to the center.

I used Simon Says stamp and first used the Dry wall mesh and Ranger ink to give some color to the background. I stamped the image. I colored the image with copics. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added the SS sentiment with Stampin up ink. I added a scrap of Quick quote paper to the side.

This image is called BB clothes line.  I colored the image with copics. I took Ranger ink and did a soft blue to the card base. I added the image. I stamped the Taylored Expressions sentiment.  This was a simple fast card to create.

can't stop thinking - Cardz 4 Guyz #265

Time for a new challenge over at

Our theme is
THINKING OF YOU




I love this fun stamp. It's a large Embossing arts red rubber stamp. I stamped him on a piece of pale blue card stock. I added Oxide Ranger ink to the background to give a water look. I colored the image but I didn't like the look so I stamped the fish on another piece of white card stock and using Copics I colored the image. I added some Rubber Seed grass to the bottom and a few stands of grass from My favorite things with Quick Quote chalk ink. I added some water splatters on the base.  I fussy cut the image out and using foam dots added it over the stamped image. I added some Nuvo drops and the Reverse Confetti sentiment.

I'm your biggest fan - Crafty Sentimets

It's Tuesday.. It's time for another challenge over at
Crafty Sentiments

our theme this week is the usual
ANYTHING GOES


I am using the image called Let's play ball.  I always need more boy cards and this one I think is perfect for a grand child.  I created the ground with copics and a tiny dots Stampin up stamp and Quick Quote chalk ink. I like that it looks like sand flying up.  I colored the image with copics. I used Ranger ink and my cloud template. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions and hb from Paper Trey Ink stamped with Stampin up ink. I found this designer paper at the bottom of my scrap box.. and digging deep is what I did.. lol. It's a page from a stamp magazine that I went through and tore out before I threw the magazines out. Like I don't have enough dp I had to pull from a magazine.. I know. It's crazy.. who can relate with that??

We have a new challenge over at 
Always Fun Challenge #202

Our theme this week is
SLIMLINE

Well.. I finally got on the band wagon and made a slimline card.. Yup only because it's the theme for this challenge over at AFC.. lol... 

I stamped the Holly Berry House image and colored with copics. I went over the flower with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I used Spellbinder die to cut out. I layered on a piece of brown card stock and then found the yellow scrap that worked perfect. I stamped the Reverse Confetti sentiment and added this to a white card base. 


Challenges:
As you like it - prefer-rubber/clear/digi (I love red rubber if it's an image as I can always cut down if not straight. For sentiment's I prefer clear so I know it's where I want it stamped if it's going right with the image.)

I am using the image called April Poppies.. it's a free image. I colored the image with copics. I had this scrap of plaid on top of my scrap box so grabbed it and using the Simon Says slat die cut a portion of the piece. I added it along the left side and using another scrap I added a thin strip down the middle. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and Paper Trey Ink happy birthday. I used Spellbinder and Tech. Tues. banner dies. I went over the flowers with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

I am using the image called Over the rainbow.  I colored the image with copics. I cut the image down and added to a navy blue card stock. I added the Reverse confetti sentiment. I went over the rainbow with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I like the sentiment cause after a good rain and the sun comes out you are most likely to see an awesome rainbow.  This is what the sentiment made me think of.

I am using the image called Frame it Gus Nagging. I colored the image with copics. I found this Echo Park designer paper and liked that it was simple but gave a nice design so used it. I added a few Pretty Pink Posh jewels.  Gus is so funny..

I'm dog-gone lost - Guest Designer for Krafty Chicks

It's week 3 for me being a guest designer over at
Krafty Chicks Designer

Our theme this week is
CLEAN AND SIMPLE - CAS

For a long time I didn't care to do CAS as it felt weird having so much white space.. But I have been doing them for some time now and loving them.  As soon as I saw the theme was CAS I knew what I wanted to do. I have had this red rubber dog image from Art Impressions for like forever.. It's quite old. I don't know if I've ever used it as the red rubber seemed quite clean.. I first stamped the My favorite things sentiment then added the dog. I colored the image with copics, it may be too dark?. I hope it doesn't distort the image too much being it's a slouching dog so it's not in it's true perky form. I laughed as I colored the image.. This card was so quick to create.  I hope it makes you smile.

I am using the cute image called Meeting Friends. I colored the image with copics. I used Lil inker stitch die. I added to a piece of scrap. I thought the card needed more so I used the little flowers from Tech. Tues and colored with copics and added. I stamped the Reverse Confetti sentiment and punched a Stampin up heart. I went over the heart, bow and shoes with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

Our theme this challenge is
EMERGENCY SERVICES

Gesh.. you'd think I would have some sort of emergency services images in all my stamps.. Nope. So I used a Stampers Delights image called Medical Heroes. I used the female image a few days ago on another DT challenge.. This one is the male image.  I colored the image with copics. I have this awesome paper from Amy Tangerine that I thought would be an awesome background.  I used Ranger ink and distressed the edge. I used Stampin up die for the sentiment and used Ranger ink.  Thank you to all that are in the Emergency Services for all you do.

Today we have a mid month reminder for the current challenge over at 
Do-Al(l)Creative #50

Our theme is 
CAS and SYMPATHY


I like doing CAS cards. I use to not like them but since I have some bigger simple images it makes it easier. I took the Penny Black image and some Marvy Markers and colored up the stamp and huffed it to get it wet.. (my markers are so old I was afraid it wouldn't stamp well) I then used the Simon Says sentiment and Stampin up ink.  It's done. 1,2.3.. complete.


 Challenges:
Jan'd digi stamps -Feb. - anything goes
As you like it - prefer-rubber/clear/digi (I love red rubber if it's an image as I can always cut down if not straight. For sentiment's I prefer clear so I know it's where I want it stamped if it's going right with the image.)

It's time for a new challenge over at
Always Fun Challenge #201

Our theme this week is
ANYTHING GOES

This is my card. I started with the card base and cut about 1-1/4 inch off the top right side. I then added the green designer paper to the inside exposed area.. I added the goldish paper to the top part. I stamped the Hero Arts image and colored with copics. I fussy cut it out and added to the brown dot paper. All designer papers are from Authentique.  I adhered just half of the brown paper to the goldish paper so you can open the card. I stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment and heat embossed. I used Stanpin up punched and scraps for the two hearts.  I went over the hearts with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

This is my card. I stamped the goat from Tech. Tuesday. The flowers from Stamp Happen Inc. I colored with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I stamped the Tech. Tues. sentiment. I cut out and added to a piece of brown card stock. I found this fun Amy Tangerine paper but it was a bright white so I used Ranger ink to tone it down. I added some twine and a button.  I love the fun sentiment.
