Happy Birthday - Always Fun Challenge #70

Monday August 6, 2018

It's time for another challenge at
our theme LET IT SPARKLE

I got this beautiful stamp in my Simon Says month club kit.. It's so beautiful. I stamped the image and sentiment on water color paper.. Then I used my Ranger / Stampin up re inkers and painted the image and background. I then used a white gel pen and glitter pen to added to the flowers. I cut the edge off and then cut a strip of pink glitter paper (also did a silver one but liked the pink better and it kinda brought out the some of the pink in the flowers) That is my bit of sparkle.. I added this to a darker piece of dark gray.   In real life this card is very pretty. Now I need to think of someone special to give this to.. someone who will appreciate it and keep it.. Do you ever think of this when you give your cards out??

Hi Billie! Your coloring is so perfect on these gorgeous flowers and I love the white hi-lites too. I haven't quite been able to do that without it looking funky. I certainly do think about who I'm giving what card to in terms of whether it will hit the recycle bin or not, especially the engineers I work with ;) Thanks so much for joining my Flower Power blog challenge and good luck :)
