Friday September 2, 2011 Hand Stamped Sentiments #82 challenge monochromatic http://handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com/

I was really trying to go for some brown but couldn't find or take the time to gather colors that would work and this kept popping out at me so thought...hum I guess I'm suppose to use these colors. I am pleased how it came out. Monochromatic can be hard just getting them right and I hope this worked on my choice of color.
Paper: Taylored Expression card base, DCWV old world, Card Makers earth palette.... Ink: Versa mark.. Stamp: SU wonderful words... Accessories: clear embossing powder, SU heart punch, ribbon.

Billie, this is such a pretty card! I definitely like the color you chose...it was meant to be! ;) I think this card is great for any season, too. I'm guessing you did a double bow with that ribbon....I really like it! It looks like mint and chip ice cream. So yummy! Thank you for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

So pretty, Billie! Love the rich pattern in the paper and that double bow is a perfect touch. I have to agree with Krista above...that ribbon reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream, too! Haha! Thanks so much for joining us this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments! :)
