New challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #216

theme: on safari

I used an embossing folder and added the leaf imprint I went over the raised area with gold ink but it's hard to see. I then added some Ranger ink. I stamped the Tech. Tues image and colored with copics. I added a few diamond drills to the crown. I die cut the DCWV paw print with My favorite things die. Added the sentiment from the set.

Theme: Something new in your stash

I got this stamp set (I won it) and thought it would be fun to create with. I stamped the images and colored with copics. I created the sky with Ranger ink and my cloud template. I left the sentiment off cause it can be used for different occasions.

Hello.. Wishing you a joyful, healthy, peaceful Happy New Year

We have a new challenge over at

Our theme: Make your own background  and or birthday 

For my card I did both.. I took watercolor paper and using my Altenew water color and Paul Reuben metallic paints created the painted background.. Once dry I took a sharpie pen and just added some doodle to fill in the piece. Set it aside to dry and then cut out few layers of the My favorite things sentiment and adhered together. I like a thicker letters.. I then added to the card and layered on the orange card stock.. I really like how it came out. I may have to do more of this style background..

for my card I used fun cake and sentiment from Taylored Expressions. The balloon dies are from Lil inker dies and scraps. I colored the cake with copics . Can't have too many birthday cards so glad I am getting a start of the new year.

New challenge over at 

Sparkles Christmas challenge #156

     theme: winter wonderland        

I was digging through my scraps of Christmas papers and found these.. So I took my triangle dies and created the trees and I had a scrap of brown so cut trunks. A piece of white scrap I cut some hills/slopes and added Ranger ink to create snow. I I then added to the background snow looking sky. I finished with the cute deer from Simon Says and cut from scraps. I love when you can use up scraps.

I thought what will I do.. I then dug through all my stamps and found this cute guy and I thought he looked like he was saying Happy New Year.. I have some die cut letters from Lil inker and love how this came out . I added to My Minds Eye designer paper.
