Books, like friends - Catch the bug

Wednesday September 5, 201

Welcome to Humor Wednesday at Catch the bug.. September 8th is International Literacy Day.. So I made a card featuring this day..

This is my card. I layered the "Lil girl fairy sitter" onto the "Book stack"  I fussy cut the image out and colored with copics. I had this fun paper bag that I saved so I cut it open and used as the background. I layered it onto the black. I then used My favorite things sentiment and heat embossed it and added this to the card. I added a little powder glitter to her wings. I have so many book even though now I read my Kindle. I just can't seem to part with the actual books. Books, like friends should be few and well-chosen..  I love to have lots of books and friends..
