Catch the bug / Bugaboo new release / March

Tuesday March 4, 2014

Today is Tuesday and that is new release at day at Catch the bug / Bugaboo  March block
I was not sure what I wanted to do with this March image as I already have a march calendar which I posted Sunday.. Then I thought I need a sketch booklet. I am always drawing out card designs during the day and then throw them in my purse and at the end of the week I clean my purse out and staple them together.. Well I thought why not make a monthly sketch pad. I really like the idea and I can just keep it at work and when an idea comes to me... there is my pad.
I wanted it nice and bright. I love yellow and blues so that was my choice for the colors. I had some scraps left over from other projects so used that and to hide the staples I used washi tape at the top and it was awesome that I had the right color tape..

You are right, that is the perfect washi tape! I love the fun spring colors on your project.

I am still having a hard time believing it is March already though! ;)

Now this is a perfect idea ..I do the same with sketching card design ideas . but usually mine are on scraps of paper or a paper napkin or on the back of an old envelope in my purse .And we all know what usually happens to those ...don't we?
This bright colourful hand made sketch pad is cool . Love the MARCH and flowers .
Thanks for sharing on Make it Monday .

Fun image. I works great on a card and would be really super on a scrapbook page too. I love your idea to write down card ideas in a book and then staple them together at the end of the day - I am going to make me a little book too. Thanks so much for sharing this with us in the Squigglefly challenge!
