Saturday August 13, 2011 sketch challenge One note book cover 6 challenges... 1-The Sweet Stop sketch SSS121 http://sweetstopsketches.blogspot.com/ 2- DYSU #32 embossing it http://www.doyoustackup.blogspot.com/ 3- DP2 Mo Manning anything but a card http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/ 4- Flutter by Wednesday open challenge but use a butterfly, fairy or angel http://flutterbywednesdays.blogspot.com/2011/08/flutter-by-wednesday-166.html 5- Hand stamped sentiment #79 back to school http://handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com/ 6- Spotted chick using kraft http://thespottedchick.blogspot.com/ OK I am loving using pencils on kraft the look is so sweet. I thought this would be a good challenge and to learn more about using my Cinch binding machine even though I just used two links but I'm thinking I may put a larger coil in there. I will use it for awhile and see before I make some for my grandchildren. OH it's a post it note cover, did I say that? I use them a lot and have seen some covers done and wanted to give this a try and I needed a "anything but card" for one of the challenges. Also the hot pink words are heat embossed and I think this would be a cute note pad for a child in school and it's on kraft and I did make this one with a butterfly. Last week I messed up and left off the butterfly, angel or fairy so hope I covered all the bases this week. No matter what I had a blast making this cute pad.

Paper: SU pretty in pink, DCWV designer papers, PTI kraft... Ink: Quick Quote marashino cherry, pink cheeks... Stamp: Mo Manning digital, Great impressions words... Accessories: hot pink embossing powder, Spicia pens, BG brad, seam binding, SU buttefly die, JoAnns white fabric balls, Cinch link, colored pencils..

Hi Billie...WOW!! I love this. What a cute idea! Hmmm...I'm thinking I may need to get a Cinch binding machine...I'll tell my hubby it's all your fault! LOL! This is so cute...and I just love the Mo image you used. I love that you printed her on kraft paper. I haven't tried that yet...soon, tho, as I just purchased some kraft paper! Your coloring is so pretty! Love the embellies too! Thanks so much for the inspiration...and thanks, too, for joining us again at Mo's for this week's fun challenge!! Hugs. Pat Frank
