Theme:  Bookmark

I had this scrap and thought it would be a fun image for a book mark.. I used Paper trey ink die and cut it out.. I punched a hole at the top and added a enforce circle protector that I added some ink and text stamping to. I finished with some yarn.

Happy Halloween if you celebrate it.

I don't.. too old and we live too far out for kids to come up to our house.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: O - Oval card and with One word sentiment

I used a Stampin up die and cut it out.. I used thin card stock cause I was worried the die wouldn't cut through both layers so I cut it twice and adhered them to make it feel thicker. I also added the Stampin up punch to enforce the top. I used paper I found in an envelope some one sent me and thought perfect for the card. My one word sentiment is Smile.. I cut it 3 times to make it thicker. The die is from My favorite things.

Hello everyone

Theme: Coloring

This card I made using stampin up products. I love the clear acrylic sheet that gives a hint to the inside of the card. I used the Stampin up alcohol blending brushes to color the fish. I like the embossed background..

Hello and hope you're all doing good

We have a new challenge over at

Crafty Catz #703

Theme: Anything goes / Halloween

I don't do Halloween so I am going with the Anything goes part of the challenge. I did do the orange and colors of Halloween.. I have never been one for Halloween. We've lived in the country for over 25 years and don't get trick or treaters so that could be a reason too why this isn't a celebrated day.. 

This card is made with Stampin up products. I do love the colors.

Theme: use Orange / Black / Purple

For my card I used Purple base, Orange and then Black... I stamped the mushrooms and used Copics to color.. I really like this mushroom stamp and I've used it so much over the years you can't read who produced it.. lol

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Halloween colors

Halloween isn't my thing but I sure love the colors.. I used a scrap base and used a Stamp camp over all stamp for the marble background using Stampin Up ink.. I then stamped the sails from a stampin up set in SU ink and cut them out.. Arranged into pin wheels and added a button to the centers.. haven't used buttons in quite awhile and I like the look vs. die cutting a circle. the sentiment is from Simon says  and used a Tech. Tues banner die.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge N

Theme: Night - moon / clouds / sleeping image

I was over at another crafty friends house and used her products. I took a lot of the die cuts, embossed papers home so I could create when needed. This turned out perfect. She had this embossing folder that is clouds and she had the moon.. I cut the moon 3 times thinking for other projects but once I was getting my card together I ended up stacking them and it looked better. I used Ranger ink to create the night sky. I sprinkled (too heavily) Perfect Pearls. I also used perfect pearls on the moon so it has a nice glow. My best friend for many many years who was also a crafter and who passed way to soon made up this saying and had it made into a stamp. I got that stamp with a few others she was had after her passing. I loved that it fit this card theme perfectly.. I used Paper trey ink die and went around it with Ranger ink.
