 I am using this darling image called A time to share.. I think they are so cute and I wanted to use some fun colors. I colored them first then went looking for a designer paper to use. (( usually find papers first then color).. boy was I lucky.. I found this right away. I always seem to go to my basic grey first and there it was.. Truthfully I could of found it and many more within the color range in my large stash of papers. I am not a hoarder but oh my I have so many paper pads in so many sizes.. Enough about me.. This card is so cute and I am loving coloring the blackish hair.. I always go with the browns and tried the blonds but I am not liking my choice of copics.. so I need to find a good blend of copics to get the blond.

With Mother's day just around the corner I figured it would be a great time to make a card. My mother has been gone 8 years and I miss her so much.. I think she would love this card.. She'd love any card I made. I remember after she passed and I was going through her things she had a box of cards and letters I wrote to her dating way back, even before I got into making cards. Warms my heart. Any how this is the card I made using Robyns Fetish image Spring girl. I cut her out because I wanted to use this Designer paper (?)  with the XO's on it.. I added some pearl swirls. Bright fun card.

This is the card I made using the image called Flower Goddess.. I wanted to give the card an Asian feel and I used an Asian coin that I got from Monika Reeck in Germany.. She is at Creative with Monika  I have been waiting for the right card to use it and this is the card.. I added some cool yarns I have to the coin. This is the first time I have colored a black/gray looking hair and I do love the look. I really am not one for low cleavage so I made it look like she has a sheer top under her awesome dress.  I added some white gel dots to the center of the flowers on her dress so they looked like flowers vs. globs.. I needed a bright happy card to brighten this very gray-windy-rainy day in Washington state so I used the image called Bug day bird 1... there are a set of four and all so precious.  I colored her with some bright colors and used some scraps of designer paper from quick quote. I don't know if you can tell but there are numbers all over it. you can see the 16 and 20 in the lower section.  I added two die cut balloons and added the happy birthday to them.  Was a fun card to make.  I hope you find time to play along and remember it's always ANYTHING GOES.. so come over and play.

It's Monday so at Catch the bug it's ABC - Anything But a Card

I have been making Journal Inspiration pages for my 2016 Journal.. I love seeing the inspiration quotes that I have collected and to see the fun image and just bring a piece of mind and smile.
I hope you enjoy seeing my journal pages. I will be making more in the future and sharing them on my blog. This journal page image is
Kidz girl ball dog  I colored it with copics then adhered it to the orange card stock to hide the bleed of the copics and to give it added color. I laminated the whole piece and punched the holes. The quote was added by typing it above the image.

Challenges:
As you like it - non card project /why favorite (craft journal page are a favorite to make and having inspirational messages that I can see for that whole month and get the message seed planted in my head. Making me a better person)

 Creative with Stamps  #1  MIDWAY REMINDER..

BUTTERFLY CHALLENGE.. DIG OUT THOSE STAMPS/ DIGI'S.. AND CREATE YOUR CARD.. Have fun

Since we are a month long blog challenge.. It's time for a mid month reminder.. So since the theme is still butterflies. duh.... I dug out more butterfly stamps. I love butterflies and have quite a few.. I did another watercolor background for this card.. I must admit the other side of the watercolor paper was my first choice and since I don't like to waste watercolor paper and I never wanted anyone to ever  ever see what I first did.. LOL.it's now taped down to the coral card stock.. it will never be seen. I am obviously loving this one better.

I used recollection base, watercolor paper, kuretake gansi paint, black embossing powder for butterflies and sentiment, stampscape large butterfly, stampin up butterfly and sentiment

My Artistic Adventure

This is the fun birthday card I made using the print out from My Artistic Adventure.. I do love coloring my images but now and then it's a nice relief to see the colors already on the image. I like the pink, brown and cream colors. I used a glittered background cardstock.. I really don't think you can see the fun shine that is there.. but it's there. I had this "happy" from a win on another blog challenge and it went perfect with this color scheme so I used it and added the birthday below. I don't know who the birthday is by .. but boy I use it a lot.. I love the font. 

I layered the pink onto a brown su card stock and then layered this onto a base of recollection.. I love the weight of the card stock from Michaels.  I hope you find time to play along at Aud Sentiments... It's ANYTHING GOES AND ADD A SENTIMENT
