I love the look of the images from A day for daisies.. This image is called Mary Mary.  I colored her up and since it took up a lot of the card from I decided to use the negative space to made a frame so you are looking in at the image. I raised the designer paper on foam dots to give it some depth.

I used as Simon says sentiment and die. I layered the sunshine and colored it with sunshine color copic pen.  This card says it's spring time..

I am always laughing when I work with Dr. D images. They are just so cute and fun to create a card with. This guy is A Dunderton abroad.. I had to make him look like a traveler with the wild Hawaiian shirt. I used some dies from Tech. Tuesday and did the camera, heart and suitcase. The sentiment is also from Tech. Tues.  I had an old out dated local map so just tore it out of the book and used some Ranger distress ink to age it up.  I hope you find time to play along this week and join us at Inspiration Destination. Every now and then I sell a card or two down at our little local store.. I live in a town of about 250 people so you know it's a little tiny store which is also our post office.. Anyhow I made a card using this image which I made probably 10 years ago. I decided to sell it at the store and never took a photo of it because it's so old, before layering/copics.. well this guy that bought it wanted to get a few more so I made more. This is one of the cards.. each set has a different colored card stock layer. All of the houses are colored the same. I decided to take just this photo vs. all the others.  I hope it's what he is looking for. If not I guess I will have more to sell down at the store.. LOL

The card base is recollections, the red is just a piece of scrap card stock, colored with copics.. it's done. I love this stamp it's The cottage stamper..

Catch the bug

This is AKV baseball girl.. I really wanted this to be an encouragement card.. So I used the Bugaboo free image and the sentiment are from Tech. Tues. I know kids can be scared and I like the inspiration the sentiment gives. It's spring so it's baseball season and that makes the perfect card. My little great grandson who is almost 8 is starting baseball for the first time.. This will be fun watching him.

I am using the image Poppy Elf.. I really wanted to keep this card simple as the image spoke volumes. I used Stampin up designer paper. I love the poppy flowers and I added some light green strips in her hair. It sure looks better in person vs. computer. At least on my computer. I do love the look and I wanted to keep a sentiment off of it since it could be used for different occasions. I hope you find time to play along this week and remember it's anything goes. Happy Mother's Day - Catch the bug / Bugaboo New release

It's Tuesday and even though Jodie is on a little vacation we have a darling New Release. Check out Bugaboo store.

The new release is  Bug LB Bear..

Here is the cute image. I added different strips of washi tape along the right had side of the card and then colored the new release image and layered it on a piece of SU black. I white embossed the sentiment by PTI below. I colored the image with copics.. I used my cloud template. I also colored the bear first then wet my little scrap of terry towel with 0 copic and dabbed it on the bear to give the little texture look.

I have joined a brand new design team..

 Creative with stamps  This is CHALLENGE #1   BUTTERFLIES

You know I often talk about Monika Reeck from Creative with Monika.. well Monika and Lilian started this new challenge blog. It is the first of each month.. so it runs for a whole month.

You can enter up to 3 times and up to 10 other challenges - 11 including our own at Creative with stamps. You must include stamping (digi's are allowed).  You can see all of the rules over at the Creative with stamps blog. I sure hope you play along.

 

April 1st challenge

This is my card.  I took watercolor paper and white embossed an allover sentiment (foreign language) then I squished my Ranger ink pads in yellow, purple and blue on my craft sheet and spritzed it and laid the paper into the inks. I then dried the watercolor paper then spritzed my hand with water and flicked it on the watercolor paper and dried it again. I then took a piece of vellum and black embossed the follow your dreams sentiment. I die cut butterflies from Stampin up dies and added them to the card. I then added this to a recollection card stock base. I am so in love with this card.
