This is my card using the image Get Well Soon Sassy.. I used designer papers from Stampin up and the card base is stampin up. I pulled those colors for her couch and there is some awesome green in the design people also but it's covered by the image.. : (    and I love always having blue with those yellow/oranges.. Really pops.  I hope who ever I get this card to will feel better soon and enjoy the card.

Inspiration Destination #32 challenge.. ALWAY ANYTHING GOES

 I am using the image called Men gardening boots..  I love the L R on the boots. (but I think they are backwards.. they should be switched)  I tried to make them look used. I know my hubby does the yard work and gardening most of the time. He is retired and I still work so it falls on him for now.  I do plant garlic and do weed it when necessary.  I thought this card could also fit as a fathers day card.  I made my own background again. I took a piece of water color paper and various sprays and liquid paint and colored the water color paper first then used some stencils and clear embossing paste or texture paste and added it through the stencils, I really like the shine it gives and reflects nicely, because I colored the background first then added the clear paste it bled through giving a nice shine to the design.. It feels masculine even with the purples/greens/golds/bronze colors.. I love the look.

Scrap card / You are special

This is another scrap card I made using quick quote and other scraps.  I just cut the v shape in the ends of the scraps. I used the lil inker stitch die for the sentiment which is from Local king. The added buttons are from Stampin us. The card grey is from Michaels recollection.  I think it would be a nice male card. What ja think?  BUT

I think this card can be a mothers day card. Some moms aren't into all the frilly girly cards and this is quite neutral and could be used for that special mom.

Simon Says stamp set / Hey you are my favorite

Ok today is no scraps BUT a stamp set I have and haven't used.. It's from Simon Says. I used Paper Trey ink for the stamping and a touch of stampin up washi tape. I made the envelope which is behind the card with stampin up designer paper. Fun card

I though this would be a fun Mothers day card.. You know how mom's are always saying your my favorite.. even though there are other siblings?? well wouldn't this be a fun card.. If my mom was still with us I would give it to her. I miss my mom.

Catch the bug Anything goes Saturday 

 

 

 

I had an idea for a card but once I got it going I did not like that the flap came down because I had to turn the image so that the sentiment faced same way. I usually like having the sentiment going different but it just did not look right with this kind of two fold card. I really wanted to use this darling image called Spring critter stack  so I used the image and then adhered the brown/green piece up so it doesn't really open anymore.

Scrap card - Life is a great big canvas

this is another scrap card I made. I thought with the sentiment you could throw a lot of paint or a little and you still have a card that speaks volumes. I wanted to kind of keep it monochromatic but the large white leaf image gives a great punch. I like using scraps.. sad there is only a really small dent in the pile.. lol 

 

Once again I folded back about an inch from the top right of the card and then added the stripe paper .. I really should of taken a better photo of the card closed because the stripe shows nest to the dot paper and under the sentiment die.
