I got to chose the theme

Theme: Faux or real stitching

I used lil inker and my favorite things stitch die. I stamped the image on a scrap and lightly colored with with copics. I layered the pieces and stamped the sentiment. I added some diamonds drills.

As you like it - feminine or masculine - (I find masculine a challenge, hard to pick papers and images that will be masculine, I have so many for feminine and I just think being a lady is easier to create what a lady would like.

We have a new challenge over at

I chose the theme 

Theme: W - wings 

Once again I was over at my friends house and created this card. I stamped the background with some Stampin up ink to give interest to the background. I then stamped the images on a piece of SU dp. I added a few brads to the corners. I stamped the sentiment and added it to a green background which is same green I put behind the dp. I also die cut the leaves and finished with some bling.

I am using the image Abigail I colored her with copics. I felt the background was plain so I used a stamp from Simon Says and Ranger ink and just stamped the background in yellow. I added the birthday sentiment and added to a scrap that is just the right size..

Once again I used Stampin up products and few others to created this card. I love the dandelion seeds on the card. Not so much in my yard. I blended the background with some ink to give it color and added the sentiment along with some diamond drills.

this is the sketch

for my card I had stamped the background with Simon Says stamp and Stampin up ink. I added strips of Quick quote scraps across the top and bottom. I stamped the Penny Black image using Ranger ink and used a My favorite things die. I added the MFT hello, I finished with some diamond drills.

Pattie's creations

I am using Cheers to you ladies from Pattie's creations. I decided to color the three dresses in pinks. I gave a different pattern to each dress. I kinda did their hair gray and added some blue / pink and purple to each of the heads of hair. I added Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to their drinks.  I added the Art Impression sentiment which I stamped on Vellum and added a few diamond drill for some bling.. This is a birthday card and that sentiment will go to the inside.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme: Vintage

I remembered I had this set from Taylored Expressions and thought it would be perfect. I found colors I thought would look more vintage and stamped. I used My favorite things circle die and sent around the edges with Ranger ink. I didn't add any bling I wanted to keep it simple and vintage. 

Challenges:

As you like it - stamp or die/why? (I love stamps as I have so many and I find it easier to add a great background with stamps to highlight the focal image- most cards I make are with stamps unless the dt has a digi sponsor)

We have a new challenge over at

theme: Anything goes / Use a die

SheepSki designs

I used the image called Cake.. I know there is no cake but I decided to use the coffee mug/cup instead of the two together.. I colored with copics and added dots with a white gel pen. I went over the coffee with a spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I used Simon says die and added this to a piece of designer paper. I added the sentiment from Sugar pea designs. I die cut using Tech. Tues. banner. I added the little coffee beans from Doodlebug designs. I added some Stampin up flowers (also used SU ink for the sentiment) and added a few rhinestone diamond drills to the flower centers.

Theme: Polkadots

Digging through my papers I found this polkadots and I don't know who made it. I liked the brown so I dug through my stamps and saw this image from The rubber cafe so stamped in a brownish ink. I stamped the Tech. Tues sentiment and heat embossed it on Vellum. I added a few blings.. the glue showed through the vellum. wish there was a way to keep that from happening. but it's there and I love the sentiment with the corset..

Theme: CAS

I used our down town Seattle view for my stamp which I think is from Love to you. Our scenery has changed over the years from growth but the Space needle is still the same and a welcoming sight when ever we go into Seattle. I added green to the bottom and using my cloud template I added blue clouds. Green and blue for our Seahawks colors.. Added the happy birthday. kept it CAS.

Hello and happy February

Theme: Love / Anniversary / Wedding or Shimmer

I used the Simon Says heart die and added a piece of DCWV paper behind it. I cut out the wreath, bow and birds. I colored with Ranger ink.  I love cutting items out of white and using ink to give them color. I added the Stamp simply sentiment - I thought it fit the theme and card.

Hello and Happy February 1st

We have a new challenge over at

Sparkles Christmas #169

Theme: A cup of Christmas tea

For my card I still have these beautiful Quick Quote scraps on my desk so I worked from that.. I stamped the Stamp Simply tea cup and sentiment and colored the cup with copics. I fussy cut it out. I die cut the white board piece with a My favorite things die and added the tea cup. I added that to the background and added that to a red piece. I wrapped  Stampin up cord around the edge and added the whole piece to the white card base. I added the two sentiments. I used Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the tea (or coffee for me)

Hello and wow already February.. one day closer to spring although we did get our first dusting of snow today..

I left the sentiment off the card as I didn't feel it needed one. I used Stampin up products. I like the short fold on the front so the inside paper shows. I didn't want to color the butterflies as I thought they looked stunning as the are. This can be a simple and effective card to give to someone
