I am using the image Coneflowers. I colored with Copics and went over the flowers with a Spectrum noir sparkle brush. I used My favorite things dies and Stampin up papers. The sentiment is from SU. I added some diamond drills crystals for the embellishments.

Theme: Inspired by a book

My book that inspired me was the Bible. The card is a two fold card and the papers and images from Stampin up. I thought keeping it simple would make your eyes focus more on the scripture. The fold out is below so you can see some of how it is.

You can see how the card front was cut at an angle and then there is the rectangle piece that is adhered to the inside with the fold on the right

Hello.. June is quite the birthday month for me. We have 8 that are in this month so I always need birthday cards.. Since I am the host this month I chose masculine

so I could make a birthday card

Theme: Masculine

I keep seeing these types of cards on pintrest but dang I have issues on things that just don't make sence so I just went with it .. I took too long trying.. I chose some masculine colors and using My favorite things circles cut different sizes. I glued them together and cut down the center. I took dark gray card stock and an embossing folder and ran it through and then added the circles pieces. I took the Denami sentiment and stamped it and added to the center - love the vertical words. I finished with a few diamond drills.

Theme: Out door fun

This is my idea of outdoor fun for this old body.. LOL I use to worship the sun but now in my older days and finding out what the sun does to you I have backed off. So it's sun screen and or shade. I used copics and Ranger ink. I created the clouds with my cloud template. The sentiment is from Pink Fresh. Thought it was true and fun.

Letter: F for fruit

I am using Stampin up products. I made my card over at a friends house who sells SU.. I thought it made a nice birthday card for those having a fall canning season birthday. Or anytime really. I used SU alcohol markers which give a nice color. I am use to my copics and so it was a little challenge with fewer choices.

I am using the cute image Sending love.. I colored him with copics and used My Favorite Things circle die. I took a bunch of scraps I had on the desk and cut into various size strips and created the background. I added the image and heat embossed the Reverse Confetti sentiment. I finished with some bling.

Hello.. It's almost mid month.. Days are wonderful, cooler at night and loving this time of the year.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Summer fun

That's more fun in the summer (really anytime of the year) but ice cream bars.. I love them and cones. We had a great family owned ice cream place in town but it closed down end of last year. Sad to see it go. We have to drive an hour away to get good ice cream. This small town just doesn't have some of the great food places as bigger towns. Anyway regarding my card. This is a Stampin up Pumpkin kit from them and all products to create a lot of themed cards. I thought this was so cute and so I chose this colored ice cream bar.

I went with the fancy fold. I used the Cake and Candle image and colored with copics. I chose the SU dp and card stock. I first make the fancy fold before I colored the image. I folded the card as usual then scored down the center of the front. I added my designer papers. I cute another piece of the card base and using SU ink I used a SU over all dot stamp and created the base for the cake to go on. I colored the cake and went over the flames with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I fussy cut out and added to the square. Then you cut a piece that is a lot smaller and crease in the center and add it to the base just adding adhesive in the fold area. then you add you image to the strip so it's free on both sides.

Then I took a piece that was 1.5 inches and used an embossing folder. then you take that embossed piece and add puffy dots to the back and adhere to the inside outer edge of the card. So when you open the card and fold back the front if is against the embossed area and the image on front is free to move.
