Tuesday March 29, 2011 Card Pattern sketch
Challenge at Card Patterns #108... A dear friend at work just got hired at a new position at work. She will still be with our agency but in a different section. Thought this card would be a nice congratulations card. She loves black and pink and she rides a bike when she can, shes very athletic and the words were just perfect. We are having a breakfast for her tomorrow...

I make ATC's quite often as I belong to a club from Montana and we make two cards challenges a month, this is not one of them for the club as the color challenge did not fit the theme's for our future card. Challenge at Unscripted Sketches using their sketch #99... This precious image is from Mo Manning Digi they had a special going on when you purchased this digi the money went towards Japan (they raised $1000) ..the image is still available but now for $3.00.. (for some reason the color looks more green vs. tan's I just couldn't get the color to change..sorry)

Waltzingmouse Sketch
ONE card FOUR challenges... Waltzingmouse sketch WMSC39... Stamping Royalty #63 Embossing... Paper Pretties - Masculine.... Our Creative Corner OCC - Don't throw that away...http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/2011/03/dont-throw-that-away.html Well I did a couple of the challenges twice- the embossing and masculine I like this masculine as it's quite different that the last one I posted. This background paper behind the bird the multicolor browns is from a bees next we took down a couple years ago. I loved the look of the paper the bees made and just could not throw it away so this fit right into the OCC challenge of not throwing that away...

I had a lot of fun making this card and tried to stay away from some of the girly girly colors I am happy with this look.

Card making mama #17 Animals.... Well like I said these colors are so me so that was the easy part, rest was trying to figure what I wanted to do and then thought of all the other challenges so went to work from there and came up with this card. I am pleased.

Stamping 411 Stamping 411 sketch challenge.... With mothers day just around the corner thought I better get some cards made for friends to send. I lost my mother three years ago and it's been very hard to make cards just for that reason but I do get request now and them to make for other people so I gathered myself together and just went for it...I'm pleased with it and know if my mom were here she'd love it, it is colors she loved ..hope others mothers will also..

Unscripted sketch

Unscripted sketch challenge... I was digging through my accessories drawer which holds my designer brads, thickers letters, little hearts /other stickers and chip board flowers and more things that are in little packages and you just can't take them out and found some of these cute felt fuzzy animals I instantly thought of making a hipo birthday card looking at the hipo.. it made me laugh and thought it would make a good juvenal card...

Bugaboo - Catch the bug challenge is to use scallops... I decided to use make the whole background scallops. I think after I was done maybe I should of softly inked the scallops to give more definition to them but the card was done and I just couldn't add it with out messing up the other scallops. Oh well guess we learn as we go along huh? Isn't this cute Bugaboo image cute and the saying is so cute also.

One card THREE challenges... Waltzingmouse- sketch challenge, Catch the bug - Any thing goes... Spotted chick -using Kraft paper... This is the third sketch for Catch the bug and again a cute Bugaboo image..I have a couple of four legged kids and they are my best friend I missed them so much while I was away on vacation..DH knew I was coming back but they did not understand and it made me sad to think that I probably left them. They were all over me when I returned..of course DH also LOL

Sketch challenge at Stamping 411... This is the new stamp set and punch from SU and took awhile to get what I wanted. I ended up making a couple of flowers and just couldn't get the look I wanted but this last one came out great. Fun set to have and sure I will be using it more.
