Ever have one of those days? - Always Fun #221

Monday July 5, 2021

Hello

Did you have a nice 4th of July.. for you in the USA.. ? quite different from late year..
We stayed home as usual. It was nice. Dog's did pretty good with the fireworks. I put lavender on their ears to help calm them. they were pretty cool. Living in the country it can get crazy.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Our theme is
PAPER PIECING

I used Paper pretties image and stamped the chicken and egg on scraps and cut them out. I found this die cut circle in my stash so thought this would be perfect for the background. I also used the Paper Pretties sentiment.. Yes we all have had those days. especially this past year..  I used the Dry wall mesh and Ranger ink and added this behind the circle. I added the circle with foam dots.

 Challenges:
Krafty chicks #566 - stamp act
Crafty animals #52 - anything goes with animals
Cute card Thursday #690 - anything goes
Simon Monday - fun and quirky

  1. Hi Billie! Nice to "meet" you! Thanks so much for your comment on my blog 🌺 This chick image is so cute, and the simple layout is nice.

Our dog did surprisingly well with the fireworks, especially for being super scared of most things. She's about 3 yrs old, but we rescued her last year from Guadalajara, she was a street dog. Maybe she's used to the loud popping noises?? Anyways, that's genius to think of puting lavender oil on their ears! I'll have to keep that in mind 😊
