For my card I used the Sizzix images and using Mission Gold water colors painted them and used the dies to cut the images out. I found this DCWV Far East designer paper. I used Simon Says 3 square die and then added the images on foam dots. I took two of the squares from the center and added brads and a coin. I also added this with foam dots.

I posted yesterday my 3 portrait cards styles.. today are the 3 landscape style. They are pretty much the same as yesterdays.. Except for this first one where I used larger numbers.. Once I did that I realized I should of used the next size down. The dies are from Paper Trey ink. The papers are scraps. The sentiment, cap, diploma are from Pretty Pink Posh.

So I got to thinking I need to create some graduation cards as I know some people will be asking for them.. So I created 6 cards. I am posting 3 today (portrait style) and 3 tomorrow (landscape style) I used scraps for all of them. I used Paper Trey Ink numbers, Pretty Pink Posh words/cap/diploma.. I colored the cap and diploma with copics. My only fear is if they don't sell I am stuck with 2021 cards.. Let's just hope most sell so it wont' hurt as much.. I guess I could of figured another layout.. but I liked this.. So hopefully others will.

This is the free image called Deacon cake. I created a mini slimline card.  I colored him with copics. I used the Kat Scrappiness distress die and cut out the image and the check background. I used Washi tape along the folded end and added the Hero art sentiment and distressed the edges with Ranger ink.

Hard to believe the end of May is just around the corner.. In the USA we celebrate Memorial Day so it's a long weekend (since I've been retired every day is a long weekend.. lol). With some restrictions being lifted I am sure that there will be people camping and this will be quite different than last year.. Us here, we don't camp but I would love to go out to the coast. It's about an hour away. Spend the day and let the dogs run on the beach and just get my water fix .. I love the coast, the sound of the waves, the fresh smell.. It's my happy place.

For my card I just went with the pink flowers, gems and sentiment strip.. I didn't want to forget what the theme was... (Yup I have done that before.. lol)  I colored the image with copics. I used a My favorite things die and added to a dry embossed dotted piece of scrap paper. I added a bow and some Pretty Pink Posh jewels. I finished with a Tech. Tues. sentiment and Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the flowers.

I thought it's time to make some more fathers day cards. I did some few days ago and posted and then I remembered I had this awesome die from Spellbinders.  So I used three different color card stock papers and die cut. I added two to white cards and one to a black background and then white A2 base. I thought it looked plain so I added twine and a Stampin up heart.

Well this is the last card for my May Guest Designer over at

It's been fun and I appreciate being asked if I wanted to GD.. 

Our theme is 

ANYTHING GOES

I am using the scripture from Psalm 138:8A .. I use the NLT bible version. 

My bible says

The Lord will work out his plans for my life -- for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don't abandon me, for you made me.

For my card I used the brick Sizzix embossing folder and added some smears of white embossing ink. I set it aside to dry. I have these tiny envelopes and I took one and added some Ranger ink and distressed it a little so it wasn't so stark white. I then added the Stampin up dies (using SU ink) to the envelope. It took awhile to arrange to my liking. I used Kat Scrappiness distress die to cut out the sentiment and added this and the envelope of flowers to the card base.

FLORAL BIRTHDAY CARD

I stamped the Simon Says flowers three times and then stamped the SS sentiment. I used my Mission Gold water colors to paint in the flowers. I used Paul Ruben metallic for the center of the flowers. I used the metallic to splatter the background.  I added this fun ribbon to hid the messed up stem area.  I would of used this ribbon even if I hadn't messed up the stamping.  I love the colors.

How are you liking the new format for Catch the bug?  I am really liking it and the two challenges a month without all the other postings.  Makes life simpler.  I hope you're liking it too.

This is the sketch to follow

For my card I used Daffodil watering can  from the Bugaboo store.. I colored the image with copics. I used a Spellbinder scallop die. I found some scraps from Quick quote and used the Paper Trey Ink large scallop. I backed the image with a green card stock and used my Corner Chomper. I added with some foam dots. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and heat embossed and fussy cut around the words also added with some foam dots. I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.

I was looking at my Father's day cards and I had old ones from few years back and I have only made a few recently so thought I'd dig through some of my scraps.. I found some papers that I thought were masculine enough to create some cards. So I made 4. They are the same just different between papers and landscape/portrait. I am loving the way they came out. The Happy Fathers day is from Sugar Pea designs, the dad letters are from My favorite things, one of the papers is DCWV and other I am not sure. I used twine and Stampin up heart punch.. Pretty simple and I love them.

This free Friday is Chef Pierre Wine.. I colored him with copics. I added some clear Nuvo drops to the wine glass and bottle.  I used Kat Scrappiness distress die. I added him to some Quick Quote scraps. I added the Tim Holtz snarky sentiment. I finished with some sequins and topped with some more clear Nuvo drops.

Our letter for this challenge is 

D - DRAGON / DINOSAURS

So for this card.. since I use just stamps I have (acrylic/red rubber) for these challenges that are not digi sponsored.. I ended up drawing and painting this card. I don't have any with dragons (maybe a tiny teeny dragon) but I wanted a larger one. So I drew this dinosaur and scene and painted with Mission Gold water colors. I used My pink stamper sentiment and Pretty Pink Posh happy birthday.  This was fun to create and paint.

I am using the image called Newborn bear.. I thought it's a perfect baby card.  I created the clouds with Ranger ink and my cloud template. I then colored the image with copics. I wanted this card for eith female or male so did the blanket with both blue and pinks.  I used Nuvo drops on the balloon and stars on the blanket. I added the Taylored Expressions sentiment. I added this piece to a scrap of DCWV dp.
