Hello.. I have a card that I made for the challenge going on over at Always Fun Challenge #156
Our theme this week is RAINBOW
So with my card I decided to go with the Rainbow colors vs. an actual rainbow.. I took a bunch of rainbow scrap colors and cut them to various widths and adhered them down to a scrap of paper. I then die cut the Paper Trey Ink phone and Simon Says Sentiments stamped with Stampin Up ink. I layered the phones 4 times and then using the Stampin up heart die cut out the stripe heart and sentiment heart. I then added them to the card base. I added some gems to the phone base. I laugh when I see this phone as that is the type of phone I grew up with. That is also why I did it in black as that was the colors that the rotary phones came in.

Imke ~ MY CRAFTY PLACE
That's the perfect card in these strange times: missing friends and rediscovering the good old telephone calls :-)!
ReplyDeleteI love it how you used your old paper scraps to create the colourful heart in the background. What a clever idea!
Love your strips of paper to make the heart. Great vintage looking card or retro.
