Happy birthday to you - Always Fun Challenge #114

Welcome back to my blog . Today I have a card to share for the challenge over at
Always Fun Challenge #114
Our theme this week is FOR DAD
 

Always hard to make a card for dad's. My dad's been gone for sometime now but it doesn't get any easier. Instead of making a fathers day card I decided on a birthday card. I colored this Tech. Tues. flower quite some months back and just never got to using it. So now was a great time to add it to a card. I painted it with Altenew water color paints. I took Stampin up gray card stock and an embossing folder as I thought it looked masculine. I added the flower and the My favorite things happy birthday. The Dad die is from Sugar pea designs.  I went over the dad with Nuvo glitter pen.

    Beautiful water coloring. I recently bought some watercolors. Boy, is it going to take me a while before I show something I worked on. Love this card. Made from the heart.
