Have a Fin-tastic birthday - Colour Crazy Challenge

Friday February 1, 2019

Welcome to my blog and a new month.. Where did January go???  All I can say is it's one day closer to spring.. woohoo..
Welcome to another fun challenge at Colour Crazy Challenge.
Our themes are always ANYTHING GOES.
remember we are a coloring challenge. No pre-colored images if you want to be a winner.

Our sponsor this week is Dr. Digi's

Oh my I had so much fun creating this card.. not that I don't all my others but it just to me is so Pacific Northwest themed. (even if it's a East coast map) I started by finding some October Afternoon designer paper and then I went for the image. I started by creating the clouds, lake, trees and dock first.. (that way if it didn't turn out I could re print the image) I liked the way it came out so I went ahead and still using copics I colored the image in. I wanted the fish to be a rainbow trout since we have so many lakes with this kind of fish. - I thought of a salmon because we have those too but most wade pants are lake - river fishing.. I went over the trout with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to give it that shinny scaly look. In person it looks awesome..  I stamped the Tech. Tuesday sentiment and used a MFT banner die. I finished with a silver sparkle pen on the lake to give some glimmer.  So what do you think??
