Happy Birthday - Craftaholics R Us #32

Wednesday August 8, 2018

I hope you're having a fun wonderful summer.. Gone on a nice vacation or just set back and relax and craft..
I have been doing some water coloring/pencils work out side for future images on my cards and I love the fresh air and quiet country life.
Well the Green team is back with a new challenge at
Craftaholics R Us #32.. Our theme this week is YELLOW

OK I am not a yellow person but I did yellow and had to add it with the darks that I love. I went through my Stampin Up stash of papers an except the lower left balloon all are SU. I used a Simon Says balloon die and cut out a bunch.. These are the ones I ended up using. I adhered them to the yellow base and added the Simon Says happy birthday then drew on the strings. I did go around the edges of the balloons with some Quick Quote chalk ink. It's hard to see but in real life it's noticeable. I added some white Nuvo Drops. I do love the richness of the yellow and black..

  1. I'm not much of a yellow person either, but I do think your card is really pretty, and I like the yellow matched up with the darker colors! Great job coordinating all the designer paper - it's very attractive! Thanks so much for joining our challenge this week at PIP Challenges.

  2. Hi Billie! This is sooooo cool! I love the colors and papers you used. I went over to Simon Says to find this balloon die cut set but I'm not sure which one you used. Can you drop me a quick link to it pretty please? Thanks so much for joining my Flower Power Blog Challenge and Good Luck :)
