you're on in a melon

Woo hoo summer..We love watermelon and have already gone through one this season.. yummm. do you put salt on your melons?? I do it really brings out the sweetness. I love fruit and I have this fun stamp set from Simon Says so thought I would play with it. I started by using this great red background paper an I watered down some black in and splattered it all over the red.. and anything else within a foot or two.. I then set it aside to day. I stamped the water melon and sentiment and using Mission paints painted them and using dies cut them out and using SS speech bubble cut the sentiment out. I found a dark green paper so I cut the red down and mounted on the green and then added the melons and sentiment. Very summer feeling card.
