Day 1 Catch the bug Birthday Bash

Welcome to Day 1 of  Catch the bug 8th Birthday Bash..
 
We have a fun filled week of challenges and our theme is
Birds, Butterflies and Birthday Wishes..
So make sure you use one of the themes and a birthday sentiment.
 
Our first challenge is BOLD & BRIGHT BIRTHDAY WISHES
 
 
So this is really bold and bright card.. It is way out of my colors for brightness. I am usually dimmer on colors. But I like this and my hubby really loved it..  This image is called Cherry Bird   I took the bright yellow and my flower embossing folder and created the background. I then used My Favorite Things stitch die to cut out the teal and bird. I colored the image with copics and went over the butterfly and birds eyes with Wink of Stella glitter pen. For the sentiment which is from Simon Says. I stamped it and I didn't have an arch die so I used a couple of circle dies to get the curves.. I went around the edges with Quick Quote chalk ink.  I hope you are inspired and take a look at the design teams creations or more inspiration.
