Catch the bug Free Friday / AKV super hero / u r my hero

Welcome to our first Free Friday for 2015 at Catch the bug
 
This new image for free is called AKV Super Hero
 
 
I had to use this background paper that I got from a dear blog crafting friend Monika Reeck who lives in Germany and from Indonesia.. The paper is a batik from Indonesia.. It's so thin but so colorful. I love it.   I know the super hero looks like he's coming from a fire.. or active explosive background and so that is another reason I thought he looked like he needed this background paper.. .. I used a star die from MFT and used my wink of stella pen... OH BY THE WAY if you have a wink of stella pen and it's dried up... DO NOT THROW IT AWAY... unscrew the water part from the brush part and take off that little cap area and fill it with water.. then replace all back as it was.. and shake it up.. OH MY you get so much more usage... Just look at the glitter on the stars compared to the one with just the  U R my star..  I saw Jennifer McGuire talk about it on one of her videos.. so glad I heard about it as mine was drying out..   I hope you like my card and grab the free image at Catch the bug... also THANK YOU MONIKA!!  : )  I hope you like what I did. hugs

    hihi I showing your card to my DH Billie...he said this is coooolll He never seen me using Batik Paper with manly Image hihi..:) cooool card you have made...and he loves this...if you send this for my son bday (belated cause it was already 3 of Januar) he will love this too if he not...my Hubby love this..he said oh Billie so creative..he likes your color combination Billie...clever card...and happy to see you like this batik paper...hugs, Monika
