I was asked by a friend to make a Birthday card for a male.. well those always seem to be hard for me so I thought about it and wasn't too long ago I saw Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner doing some similar die cutting and shadow look, also using washi tape and cover a scrap of card stock and cutting out the image. Well I did strips of washi and then cut out the happy about 5 times. Once with washi and rest in white. I layered it to give it more depth and sturdy the word cutting. I am loving the way it came out. I stamped the Birthday and tied a seam binding ribbon and attached a brad to the center.

ReplyDeleteMarvelous! What a wonderful card and I love your technique and the man will love it. I have never bought washi tape and will have to break down and buy some.
