Friday July 5, 2013
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July and the weather was nice so you could enjoy your day. We stayed home and I crafted and hubby watched movies. Just a laid back day and tried to sleep though the neighborhood fire works.. and I don't think they were legal. KWIM. I live in the country and most of the workers are Weyerhaeuser (lumber jack and such) so it's was quite a rumble time.
(please note Bugaboo makes every attempt to have our new images and freebies posted by 7a.m. however sometimes life gets in the way so please check back later if the new freebie has not been posted.)
For my card I spritzed the background with Mr. Huey. I wanted to just get a different look instead of always using dp and or embossing folders. I like this look and will try Mr. Huey on some lighter paper next time. But for now it worked and I have a little piece of ribbon and dp behind the image to draw it all together.
