Happy Memorial Weekend for you in the USA. Hope you all have a fun safe weekend. We are staying home as usual and just enjoy time away from the rush. I am recovering from surgery I had on May 14th so moving very slow. I hope to maybe get some cards made but we'll see.
Today's challenge at Unscripted Sketches is sketch #212. Remember you can turn the sketch, make a scrapbook page, framed art.. just let your imagination go and join us at Unscripted Sketches with your project.
This is the card I made for sketch #212. I saw this paper and thought this would be perfect for a miss you card. I have this cross hatch large background stamp I don't use enough. I love the look as it's not over powering and gives just the right touch.
challenges:
Perfect Sentiment #80 - anything goes
Whimsy Stamps #59 - anything goes
Word Art Wednesday #81 - anything goes
Sister Act #8 - anything goes
Clear It Out - earth tones
Paper Crafting Journey - photo inspiration (I chose colors vs flowers)
recipe: bazzill paper, basic grey/serenade paper, mft words, tech tues globe, ek punch, su punch, su cross hatch background stamp, memento ink, ranger ink, pizzaz aplenty bling.
I love your card! I have a soft spot for the postal-theme and I adore that sentiment!!
