Friday September 2, 2011 Hand Stamped Sentiments #82 challenge monochromatic http://handstampedsentiments.blogspot.com/
I was really trying to go for some brown but couldn't find or take the time to gather colors that would work and this kept popping out at me so thought...hum I guess I'm suppose to use these colors. I am pleased how it came out. Monochromatic can be hard just getting them right and I hope this worked on my choice of color.
Paper: Taylored Expression card base, DCWV old world, Card Makers earth palette.... Ink: Versa mark.. Stamp: SU wonderful words... Accessories: clear embossing powder, SU heart punch, ribbon.
Billie, this is such a pretty card! I definitely like the color you chose...it was meant to be! ;) I think this card is great for any season, too. I'm guessing you did a double bow with that ribbon....I really like it! It looks like mint and chip ice cream. So yummy! Thank you for joining us at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
ReplyDeleteWow this a beautiful card! Love the clean and simple layout. Thanks for playing with us this week at Hand Stamped Sentiment.

ReplyDeleteBillie, this is gorgeous. LOVE the green. I really like the dotted ribbon and how you tied it into a double bow. Beautiful! Thank you for joining us this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Billie! Love the rich pattern in the paper and that double bow is a perfect touch. I have to agree with Krista above...that ribbon reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream, too! Haha! Thanks so much for joining us this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments! :)
