2 Graduation cards

Monday April 3 - 2017

I was up late playing in my craft room last night and decided to make some Graduation cards. I made two which I am posting now.

I was digging through some papers and found this over spray paper. ... When I spray papers for backgrounds I put a piece of text paper in a box (along with some paper towels) and I remember the last time I sprayed some card stock I had this awesome piece of over spray paper so I cut it down to 6X6.. I loved the look. It's the tag paper. I used Marianne tag die and cut two tags out of the overspray scrap... Isn't it awesome looking??

For the big background I used some Ranger inks and blended then sprayed with water and blotted off to get the water marks. I used a Paper Trey Ink Congratulation and embossed in black.  I then have this cute Tim Holtz crazy bird and stamped it twice. I colored this one with Zig markers. The bottom one is with Prang watercolors. For the hat which is the accessories stamps/dies I just cut out black cardstock.. I took a glitter pen and did the band and tassel and added a drop of Nuvo drops.  Aren't the glasses cute?  I added a brad to the tag hole.  When I adhered this tag to the card base I just used adhesive to the top and bottom leaving the middle free from adhesives. This way you can add a gift card or money to that area. That I why I created a faux gift card which is size of an actual gift card so who ever buys this card will know how to use it. (I sell my cards at our little store in my neighborhood- we only have 250 people who live here.. we are in the country)  I plan to make more this week.. Lets see what today bring in the creative room..
