Today is my son - Samson and his fiancé Glenda - soon to be wife in a matter of a couple of hours wedding. They are in Maui Hawaii for the big day, just them. (second marriage for both) and then they will be home later in the week and a big reception this weekend.. Their wedding will be 6ish Hawaiian time which is three hours difference so 9 pm our time. It's going to be a wonderful beach wedding. I cant wait to see photos..

Anyhow this is the wedding card I made for them. I have been thinking of this lovely flower die from MFT (it reminds me of the Hawaiian beautiful flowers) for the card and wanted to keep it simple but elegant so came up with this card.

Monday and so it's another challenge at Paper Makeup/makeover #148 It's Anything goes

 

Remember to use a digi image on your card.

 

This is the card I made using the digi Sunshine /you add sunshine sentiment

I embossed with clear glitter embossing powder and re inked with versa mark and more glitter embossing.. It's quite shinny in real life.. or should I say sun shinny..LOL

I thought it needed something behind the sun image so I found a spellbinder die that was perfect and that left me able to use the card stock base so I could keep the sunny look. Fun card.

This is the Free Friday image and just in time for summer.

I chose to use some fun papers for the background and die cut the sunglasses from a Taylor Expression die. Added some twine for the string around the neck, you know how some wear sunglasses. The bird was an added touch for a sea bird of some sorts. Not necessarily a sea gull but some sort of sea bird.

It's a new challenge at Paper Pretties #317 - RAINBOW INSPIRATION

 

I chose to use rainbows in the background paper and then the rainbow colors in the coloring of the image. I love rainbows but not a fan of the image for a card.  I used the image best friends stamp set from Paper Pretties.

Catch the bug / Bugaboo New Release Umbrella Mouse / When times are tough

I think this little guy is just too cute. I though with my sentiment he had to have a heart in his hand. I used a piece of washi tape down the left side of the card and added the paper clip swirl just cause it needed it.. Hope you get a chance to head over to the Bugaboo site. I know a sale is going on the whole month of July. Now is the time to stock up on all of those "wants" you've been wanting..

This is the card I made for the Butterfly challenge. Image is Danni Fairy. I remember chasing butterflies when I was a small child and putting them in a jar and feeding them.. so I thought. Fun memories making this card. I also tried making her jeans look bleached or gently aged. It's the style even though I don't wear them. I found this cool butterfly DP and so that helped with the butterfly theme. I added some SU die butterflies and the sentiment to finish off the card.

This is a new challenge at Catch the bug / Bugaboo.. COLOR

 

 

This is my card for the challenge. I love these colors and you would think it would be an easy card to make but I had issues trying to make the colors come together. I guess it's all in the image you use and I just wanted to use this cupcake mouse. He's just too cute peeking out from the frosting.
I had these little enamel dots and love them and they give more color.  I heat embossed the sentiment. I layered the ribbon behind the cupcake to give a stripe look. I hope you find time to play along this week.  I / we love seeing your lovely works.
