Hello

It's time for a new challenge over at
Cardz 4 Galz #215 

Our theme is 

DL card (slim line for us US crafters)

I have a friend who make a card using these darling birds so I thought I would give it a try. I started by cutting a card base for a short slim line card. I used Kat Scrappiness die for the background and used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I used various greenery stamp for the ground. I used My favorite things circle die and heart punches to create the birds. I used Doodlebug eye. I love the way they came out. I didn't add a sentiment as I wanted it for anything.

This card was so much fun to create. My best friend came up with this idea and she did the sentiment on her computer. The papers and dies are from Stampin up. The starts are from Simon Says. I love that it's an easel card. but would be pretty as a folded card too.

Last Minute Manda

I used one of the Christmas coco cups image from Last minute Manda.. I colored with copics. I added some glossy accents and Spectrum noir sparkle pen. I used My favorite things stitch die and added to scrap of green and then to Echo park designer paper. I finished with the Simon says sentiment on the cup and diamond painting drills

I used the images from a Simon Says set. I colored with copics and went over presents and hat with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I dug through my scraps for the background and heat embossed the sentiment and used My favorite thing dies.

Our theme is

We don't have a sponsor this week so it's anything goes and I love it. I made this card awhile ago and never posted it. So this is the perfect time. It's all stamping up products. You find acrons all over the place and I like the dropping in to say hi.. I use to love watching the squirrel's gathering them and saving for that day when they needed a meal. Out in the country we don't have them but in the city they were all over and stealing the bird food.

I have always love this cute Reindeer from Holly Berry House.. That's an old company. I found this designer paper from Fresh Pink and so Stamped the deer and the Hero Arts branch with ornaments and colored all with copics. I added Nuvo drops to the ornaments.

I used Simon says stamp and colored with copics. I found this floral scrap from Quick Quite so using Spellbinder oval dies cut them out. I them used Stampin up dots stamp used versa mark on the background but it didn't come out too good so I went over it with white. I like the a hint of a design. I finished with Nuvo drops on the frame and a gem on his nose.

Our theme is

Bendi fold card

I've never made a bendi fold card so went to You Tube - which is where I seem to spend so much time and I learn. I can't believe how simple this card is to make. I was so worried when I saw the theme but its so easy so I hope you try. I used a scrap of designer paper that was perfect for the background I stamped the Gerda Steiner snow people and the trees are from Sugar peas. I colored with copics. The sentiment is from Simon Says.

Just to let you know Happy little stampers - all of their groups, is closing all challenges after their December challenges. It's been a fun group and love being able to use my own products. 

We have a new challenge over at
Happy little stampers watercolor

Our theme is 
Anything Goes

For my card I used watercolor paper and my Mission Gold watercolors and created the background and while it was still quite wet I added some splatters of Paul Reuban metallic and set it aside to dry. I then took a scrap and used my watercolor powders color burst and created a piece that I liked. I took another piece and just added colors for the greenery.. setting it all aside to dry for a couple days I then took Stampin up dies and cut out the ornament, pine cones and greenery. I used Simon says die for the words. I love the metallic giving a look of far away lights..

I used the Stampin up houses and added a touch of color with Ranger ink. I cut some hills of snow. The snowmen and girl are painted with Prima paint. Used Pretty pink posh. The sky looked plain with just nuvo drops as snow so I added the SU snowflake that kinda looked like a star.

I used a scrap of Pink Fresh studio for the background paper and a scrap from Quick Quote for floor. I stamped the Mama Elephant images and colored with copics. I used glossy accents on the ornaments and stars. The sentiment is from Simon says and I used Stampin Up die and went around the edge with a copic pen to give it a frame look.

For my card I chose this cool paper I had. I then used Impression obsession wreath die and then added the images. The Santas are from Mama Elephant and used Prima watercolors, the marvy punch snowflakes and die cut the holly leaves and used diamond drills for the berries and center of the snowflakes. I added the Merry Christmas to the center.
