Hello

We have a new challenge over at 

Happy Little Stampers Watercolor

Our theme is always

ANYTHING GOES / WATERCOLORED / opt. BRIGHT

For my card I smooshed Ranger inks down and dried and repeated till I got the look I wanted. I then took some Prima watercolors and spattered the paints. I took some Stampin up card stock and usnig Spellbinder scallop die and ran it through a Stampin up embossing folder. I stamped the Tech. Tues. image and sentiment and colored with copics. I finished with some left over diamon drills.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at 

Cardz 4 Guyz #323

Our theme is

LOTS OF LAYERS / AT LEAST 3

for my card I created. The fold is a little different.. well probably not the fold but front. The Kraft part is not glued down. You can see the area of the top bottom floral is where the kraft is cut the whole small kraft piece opens.. I guess you can see the next photo more on how this card is. You can add an image to the front diamond part but I liked the way it looked so left it alone. I may change it later when I decide who I want to send it to. I could add the sentiment - thank you, happy birthday, get well.....

I created this card using Stampin up products.. I thought I needed to add a flower color just to break up the green so figured for a guy make it kinda orange.. so that is what I did. I think any guy will love it.. if not then hope he loves the present that comes with it.. LOL

Our letter this challenge is

D - Dragonflies

I have always loved this dragonfly stamp from Stampers Anonymous.. I used some DCWV paper and stamped the image on it. I added this to a piece of purple card stock then to the black card stock. The leftover pieces from cutting down the image I used an made banners and tucked them in. I added some purple diamond drills.

I am using the image called Crazy island. I colored with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink for the sky. I added the Simon Says sentiment stamped on a tag I created with Stampin up ink. I added the twine. I went over the water and fish with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

Hello

Today we have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #199

Our theme is 

BACKGROUND

This is my card and I created the background.. I watched on You Tube Kelly Taylor Cards.. and she took a piece of watercolor paper and using watercolors she just added streaks of colors without getting them muddy. which I did using Prima watercolors. You let it dry. I let it dry for about a week .. only cause I was busy diamond painting and just got lost in that.. lol.. Then I took my thicker almost 3 D effect embossing folder and the part that is more flat I added black ink and just tapping and tapping it on the flat part of the folder till I thought it had a good cover. I gently laid the paint side of the paper onto the ink side and carefully closed the other half and taped it shut just to keep the paper from moving. I ran it through my Big shot about 4 times just to make sure I got good coverage. Then when I opened it .. this is what I saw.. wow.. (I did two so another time I will show that one too) I love the effect. I didn't want to cover any of it so added a layered simple Simon Says hello...

Our theme this challenge is

Bi-peddle wheels - national bike day

I wanted to make a camouflage bike for a guy.. I found this paper that had large white flowers on it (a quick quote scrap) and it worked out perfect. I used mostly the dies for the bike. I did stamp the wheels and flowers. I added brads to the wheels. I used DCWV scraps and Ranger ink to distress the edges. The sentiment is also from Paper trey ink as well as the bike.

I am using the image Watering time.. I colored with scraps. I added the ribbon to the background and added a brad. I backed the image with some black card stock and heat embossed the sentiment from Reverse Confetti.. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink.

For my card I used scraps. I used a My favorite things die for the decorative piece. I used Simon says stencil to add the hearts using Ranger ink. I stamped the Stampin up cat and added the Jubilee stickers to give some colors. The sentiment is also from SU.

Hello

It's almost summer but enjoying the touches of spring in the air

We have another challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #198

Our theme this challenge is

MOTHERS DAY or FLOWERS FOR A FRIEND

My card is made using Stampin  up products. Started using a top fold card and then cutting 1/2 inch strips off the bottom 6 times. Then you lay 4 of them back down spacing apart and add the other two vertical to create a fence look.. (next time I will add a woodgrain or some texture to the fence- I wasn't at home when I made this so didn't have that choice) I then took some die cut flowers and layered them and laid them out till I was happy.  See below second photo. I added a piece of designer paper inside the card.

I dug out my glimmer mists and a piece of watercolor paper and added a few colors. I don't know why I haven't been using them.. I love this look of the background. I took a scrap and Simon says circle die and added this. I stamped some Stampin up images and added them  along with a heart I cut out a long time ago. I added the sentiment to the heart.. I think this is perfect for a guy.. or anyone.

Our theme this month is

WATERCOLOR  and or SPRING

I love to water color images so that I what I did I stamped the Tech. Tues. image and then using Prima watercolors painted the flowers, ground and sky. I took the die that came with the image and scrap paper and cut out 4 Hello and layered them. I added two Stampin up butterflies and a small drill to the body. I layered on some scraps of designer papers.

Our theme this time is

INCLUDE A SLEIGH 

For my card I used my cloud and ground template and Ranger ink and added the dark sky and snow. I went over the snow with Spectrum Noir sparkle to give the snow a sparkle look. I used the Mama Elephant sleight/Santa and deer and Pretty Pink Posh people and presents. They were painted with Prima watercolors. I added the Paper Pretties sentiment.

We are back with another challenge for the month at

Our theme is twisted sister so both need to be used

TAG AND BUTTERFLIES

I created this tag but using a die for the top part and then because I wanted it longer I just used my cutter to make it the length I wanted. I took Paper Trey Ink music notes and Quick quote ink and added to the background. I added the Stampin up images and Tech. Tues. sentiment. I finished with some diamond painting drills and ribbon.
