I used Tech. Tues image and sentiment and painted with Mission Gold water colors.. that's pretty simple.. Gesh. I usually have more to say.. I hope you play along and you can use any image or background just as long as you use watercolors.

Hello

We have a new challenge over at

Cardz 4 Galz #176

Our theme this challenge is

TRIANGLES 

For my card I dug through some scraps.. These are Quick Quote designer papers. I used a Sizzix die and cut the shapes and went around the edges with some Quick Quote chalk ink then laid out the design. I found a cute Tim Holtz snarky sentiment and finished with some diamond painting drills that I am getting quite a stash of.. I do at least one if not more diamond painting a month and they are usually large ones so there are plenty of left overs. They are perfect for card embellishments.

The last challenge I showed another card like this one.. This is using 3 - 6x6 designer papers and cutting all three at the same time to create 3 different cards. Our theme this challenge is

FATHER'S DAY

This is my card. I found this plaid scrap and and a round piece of tan card stock so ran the tan circle through an embossing folder. I like the way it kind gave it a scrape look. I stamped the Sugar Pea images on some scraps and fussy cut the tie and bow tie out. I added with some foam dots and added the sentiment that I used a Tech. Tues. banner and distressed the edge with Quick Quote chalk ink.

Since we don't get images from the sponsor I chose to use Stampin up leaves and My favorite things cute sloth images and sentiment. I painted with some Prima watercolors. The Stampin up is with SU ink. I found this scrap of Quick quote dp. so used it to add the images. The sentiments were stamped on scraps and used Tech. Tues. banner dies. These cute little guys just make me smile.. 😊

I am using the fun image called Crazy paw flamingo.. The sentiment comes with the image. I colored with copics. I used Ranger ink and my cloud template to create the sky. All of the products I used are from Stampin up. I chose 3 different 6x6 papers and cut them all at once then I created my cards. Our theme this month is

CUTE CHRISTMAS CRITTERS

This is my card. I used Ranger ink and Hero Arts images. I stamped and created the scene. I colored with some Color It color pencils. I die cut the Taylored Expressions clouds out of some scraps and used Quick Quote chalk ink to distress the edges. The sentiment is also from the Hero arts set.
