Our theme this week is USE THE BELOW SKETCH

So this is my card for the challenge.  I love this fun Holly berry house deer. I stamped him on Kraft cardstock. I used my Prisma colored pencils. I added the Simon says hello there. I used My favorite things die. I had a scrap of this awesome plaid so used it and stamped and heat embossed the SS sentiment. I punched three snowflakes out of the kraft catdstock and heat embossed with some white sparkle embossing powder.  I love this card and think it's perfect for that guy in your life. So I think this will go to my brother and his husband..

I am using the image called Brat leave girl.. I colored her with copics. I used my cloud stencil and Ranger ink.  I added the image to a scrap of Quick Quote designer paper. I stamped the Stampin up sentiment / heat embossed and used a SU die and added to the card.

 This is my card using the image called Christmas presents..  I colored the image with copics. I went over the ribbon, stars and wings with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I cut it down and found a scrap of designer paper I think by DCWV. I added this to the dark navy blue card stock. I stamped the Paper Pretties sentiment on some scrap and used My favorite things die. I added this on foam dots.

I was just playing in the craftroom and saw this fun stamp from Tech. Tuesday so I decided to use it to create a card.. the first card is in the garbage.. Even my hubby didn't like it.. and I totally agreed. 

So this one I stamped and used copics to color (first one I painted) I used the die with it to cut out. I then found this green scrap and used Stampin up die. It looked to plain so I took some SU cording and added behind the green die. It looked a lot better. I added the flower with puffy dots.  I colored a piece of white cardstock with the copic I used for the flower. I used SU die to cut out and heat embossed the TT. sentiment.  I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the center piece of the flower and the sprigs of green pine around the flower.

this image is AKV skater.. I ended up creating a monochromatic card.. lol.. It just turned out that way. I colored the image with copics. I used Spectrum Noir sparkle brush on the ice. I used Ranger ink and my cloud template. I stamped the Paper Trey Ink sentiment with Ranger ink.

Hello.. We have a new challenge starting over at

Our theme is ANYTHING GOES

I am using the cute image called Jasmin - Warm cuppa.. I colored her with copics. I then used My favorite things brick stencil and Ranger ink and created the wall she is sitting on.  I used a light shade of blue and went over the top area. I added a few sequin snowflakes and topped with a dot of Nuvo drops. I added the Sugar Peas sentiment and Simon says Merry Christmas. I heat embossed both sentiments. I added her to a piece of Teresa Collins designer paper.

Our theme these two weeks is 

THANKFUL

I created this scene with Stampin up stamps and Ranger ink. I used my cloud and ground template. I like the blue bird.. I know the midwest has the red cardinal but we don't we have them so I added a blue bird that kinda resembles it. I guess it could be a robin if I wanted to try to get the colors but the bird is so small. Also our squirrels are gray vs. brown but I needed the color so went with brown.  I used Simon says rectangle die and tiny frame which was cut from a scrap piece. This card is pretty flat and I like that when I send out to family / friends this time of the year.

Today's my birthday.. I know I have a few cards posting today so I am letting everybody know.. lol

I am a baby boomer so you can kinda guess my age.. Let's just say I am ripe..  lol

Today we have a new challenge over at Alphabet Challenge Blog 

and I am the host

so I got the lucky letter  "Q"

So let's see cards with a "QUOTE"  

it can be focal point as I did or with an image just as long as it's a quote.

For my card I used a piece of  Alcohol ink backgrounds I did quite awhile ago.. I did quite a few, so I picked one I really liked.  I then used white card stock and Paper Trey Ink overall die and added this over the background. I found a nice piece of cardstock in the teal color and heat embossed the Verses Rubber stamp. I used PTI die to cut this out. I like that it kinda matched the background die. I added with foam dots. I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh jewels.

I stamped the Paper Pretties sentiment and used Pink paisley stickers and spelled out Skate over the dance. I went around the edges with Quick Quote chalk ink.

Hello.. I have a card to share for a new challenge over at 

Cardz 4 Galz #135

Our theme for these two weeks is 

CUTE CHRISTMAS

This is my card.. I really wanted to keep it simple and I am pleased with how this came out. I stamped the Your next stamp deer and using Prisma colored pencils colored it in.. (I ended up having to do twice as I put it back in the misty to re-stamp after it was colored and obviously didn't have it in the corner as I had a ghost stamping. least it was a small image to color and I learned a lesson.. make sure you tuck that image in the corner)  I then used Simon says dies and cut a frame out of Teresa Collins scrap. I used SS snowflake and Stampin up ink and added a few to the background. I stamped the SS sentiment and banner and fussy cut out. I used again SU ink. I added some Nuvo clear drops to the eyes, jingle bells and snowflake centers. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to his red nose.

I am using the image called Bugaboo Brat Pretty Dress.. To me she looks like a princess. I colored her with copics. I used some gold scraps and EK punch and punched the crown and heart. I added her to a scrap piece of designer paper. I stamped with Stampin up ink the Cloud 9 sentiments and added them to the card. For my card I took a piece of Kraft and repeated stamped the Thank you from Paper Trey Ink. I then added gold embossing powder. I cut this little corner piece from some scraps and added it. I stamped the PSX image and colored with copics.. I used My favorite things die. I added this with some foam dots. I think it's a perfect card for a guy to give to the host at Thanksgiving.

Hello.. It's time for another challenge over at

Our theme this week is ANYTHING GOES

This is my card. I wanted to use some dies that were on my desk which were the background piece and the Aloe plants.. So I thought of this fun Llama from Simon Says.. I know it's a St. Patty Llama but that is if I colored it like that.. right?  So I colored him with copics and just used colors I wanted to and stayed a little away from St. patty colors. I fussy cut him out. I added him to the back ground die which I used Quick Quote chalk ink and distressed the edges. I then added the My Favorite Things Aloes which were painted with Mission gold water colors. I found this Tech. Tues. sentiment which made me laugh and during these Covid times it's so true.. I colored the background with a copic then stamped the sentiment. I added Glossy Accents to the spits..

Our month long challenge theme is

GLITTER AND CHRISTMAS GREETING

Our Twisted Sister challenge.. Those two theme's need to be on your card.

Since it's a Twisted Sister challenge meaning two must haves on you card which is Glitter and Christmas greeting.. I kept this quite simple. I thought it would be a great masculine Christmas card. I chose this plaid. (which I love) and then using silver glitter paper and Simon Says Merry Christmas I also cut 3 more sets out of white and layered to give depth and sturdiness.  I die cut the Tech. Tues snowflakes. I added all to the card. I then added a few Nuvo drop silver glitter dots to the card. the dot on the i and around to the snowflakes.

Hello.. It's Friday the 13th.. Who's superstitious??? 

I don't really think I am. 

Well today is my last card for the Coffee Lovers Fall / Winter blog hop

I have had fun seeing the awesome creations everyone's made.

 I always look at each and every card and just love the awesome works.

 I love this craft. 

During the hop I got this awesome free owl from Jessica Lynn Originals and so I had to create a card. I colored the image with copics I fussy cut him out. I took a wood grain scrap from Quick Quotes and cut it in half, I added the good grain as grounding. The other side I heat embossed the Tech. Tues. sentiment. I stamped the two sizes of to go coffee cups and fussy cut out. on the small one I used a little copic to give some color. I used scraps for the other ones.
