time to celebrate - Crafty Sentiments

It's time for another challenge over at 
Crafty Sentiments

Our theme this week is ANYTHING GOES



I am using this darling little image called Isobel strawberry cupcake.. I colored her with copics. I used a Simon says die to cut her out. I layered her on some dark gray card stock. I had this die cut frame from Lil inker on my desk so used it to frame the image. I took a Hero arts happy birthday and Stampin up ink and repeat stamped the sentiment. I then used a Reverse Confetti and the same Stampin up ink and stamped the time to celebrate.  I went over her bow with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

Challenges:
As you like it - bright or pastel favorite (mostly bright as it seems to make the card more cheerful- but to even it out and not so powerful add a little pastel)

Hello.. Today is ABC - Anything But a Card day.. over at 
Catch the bug 

So I did a Mini Album


This mini album is a kit from Quick Quotes. They have awesome kits and quite a few different scrapbook pages, mini albums, sometimes card kits, inks and more.. Check them out. So I took the kit that I did and this Give thanks 6 block image from Bugaboo.  I colored the image with copics and added to the front of the album.  Thought this would be nice for some memories that we are thankful for.

Just because - Make My Monday #132

Hello again.. I have a card to share for the new challenge over at 
Make My Monday #132

Our theme this challenge is 
USE UP YOUR SCRAPS



So in a way I wish I could of used up my scraps.. BUT I hardly put a dent in it for this card.. LOL.  I really need to figure how to use up my scraps. Every card I use some of my scraps in one way or another.. Well this card I made one similar to it earlier this month and loved the look so I went that route with this card. I found some nice scraps. I cut different widths and then laid them out on a piece of paper. I had this frame on my desk and not sure what it was from but thought that is what I would use to frame my scraps.. I used more scraps and die cut the Taylored Expressions silhouette image. I adhered the blue one right to the scrap background and the blackish one I used foam dots behind the flower parts.. I stamped the Tech. Tuesday sentiment with Stampin up Not quite Navy ink. I added this to the stems and added to a white card base..

Today is a new day - Always Fun #182

Hard to believe that end of September is just around the corner.. Time flies.

We have a new challenge over at
Always Fun Challenge #182

Our theme this challenge is DIE CUTTING

I took some white card stock and Spellbinder scallop square and die cut quite a few pieces. I wanted to go for the autumn but in a pastel way.  I took Ranger ink and added colors I thought worked well together. I used various Simon Says stamps and heat embossed the foliage. I then used foam dots and added the squares. I die cut the Stampin up butterfly in black and a golden yellow and stacked them and added to the card. I heat embossed a SS sentiment and finished with some Pretty Pink Posh jewels. I love how it came out but oh my it took a long time to make.

Hello.. Yup this is another team I have joined. I am on 4 new ones.. I am so excited.  I love that I can use my own sadly ignored stamps.. They are going to get a good work out with 4 new teams to create for.

There is a new challenge over at Alphabet Challenge  

This challenge is the letter "M"


For the "M" I chose Monkey.. who doesn't love monkeys.. I used My favorite things monkey, bananas and sentiment. I colored with copics. I used the dies and then dug through my scraps and created the background. I used Stampin up punches for the sentiment. I finished with some epoxy dots.

I am using this image called Poppi and duck.. I colored her with copics. I used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I used a Paper Trey Ink die and cut off the side points so it fit the card better. I used some My minds eye scraps. The sentiment is from Simon says. I added a twine bow.

hello .. Time for a new challenge over at

At first I was going to make a baby card.. then saw the bandaged foot so decided to make it a speedy recovery card instead. I colored the image with copics. I found the crazy background paper that really messes with the eyes. but thought great for the black and white theme I seemed to have going.  I used My favorite things circle die and Art Impressions sentiment used a Stampin up tag die to cut out. I stamped the Lawn Fawn recovery sentiment and used Stampin up die to cut out. I finished with some gems.  I think it's a great recovery card..

I am using the image called Poppi Pokkidott .. I used My minds eye papers which gave me some of the colors.  I colored the image with copics. I used My favorite things stitch die. I used a Stampin up heart punch and went over it with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added the Reverse Confetti sentiment and went around it with Quick quote chalk ink. I added a Stampin up ribbon bow.

So this is the only image I have by Mama Elephant. It's the Chinese new year images.. It has this cute little dragon image. So I colored him with copics. I used some scraps and My favorite things dies. I used some Ranger ink to give a little color behind the circles. the Dino-Mite is from The pink stamper and the happy birthday is from Paper Trey Ink. I topped him off with a crown punched from Marvy. I added another crown to the sentiment area.  So how did I do ?? LOL

I dug through my scraps and using scraps created my card. I used My favorite things circle die. the house is Tech. Tuesday and the trees are Simon Says. I used a copic to go around the window frames and door color. Once it was all adhered down I used a yellow copic to color in the window squares. I added the Reverse Confetti sentiment

This image is called Kidz pug..  I used copics to color the image and to create the wall. I added her to a piece of red scrap card stock and then My minds eye designer paper. I added the My favorite things sentiment and twine. The hearts are from Stampin up punch and Simon Says die. I used Simon says rectangle die to cut the image out.

I dug through some scraps that were in an Authentique bag and pieced the background. I stamped the Three Cheers from Power Poppy and the hip, hip, hooray from Reverse Confetti. I thought this could be a great masculine birthday card too.

This cute image is called Coffee Confidential   I colored the images with copics. I added some stamped off Simon says leaves for the background using Stampin up ink. I cut the image down and added to the plaid designer paper. I stamped the Simon says sentiment and added some Stampin up leaves and flowers. Finished with some gems in the flowers and Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the digi image flowers.

Hello.. I made a card for the Sept/Oct over at Creations in Pink but I told them I was leaving the team for Oct/Nov. She dropped me now so I still wanted to post my card. 

I have joined 4 other design teams so you will see those cards coming in the near future.

I am using the image called Beret Girl.. I used Prisma Color pencils to color her since she was so tiny. I cut her down and used some My minds eye designer paper. I stamped the Paper Pretties sentiment and finished with some Simon Says hearts and Stampin up jewels.

I used DCWV  designer paper and scraps to create the background. I used My favorite things trees and ran them through embossing folders. I used scraps and Lawn Fawn grass die. I stamped the Tech. Tuesday Lion and the MFT giraffe then colored with copics and used the dies to cut out. I finished with a little sentiment at the bottom by Tech. Tues. This background paper really gave great depth.
