Script feather card - Always fun challenge #165

Hello.. I have a card to share for the challenge going on over at Always Fun Challenge #165

Our theme this week is LAYERS

I dug through my scrap box and just pulled out papers I liked. I then brought them over to my craft desk and started cutting them down and layering them till I found a layout I liked. I used My favorite things scrap and Quick quote scraps. I dug out my Simon Says feather die and using more scraps die cut them out. I added to the card and the little feather is on foam dots. I added a twine bow to the quills and added a little glitter over the knot area.  To me it was complete with out a stamped sentiment. I like doing that some times because this way it can be what ever the occasion is so it fits anywhere.

From the bottom of my heart - Do-Al (l) creative #42

Hello.. I have a card that I made for the challenge going on over at Do-Al (l) Creative #42

Our theme this month is 

BLACK / WHITE / and ONE OTHER COLOR

This is my Black / White and one other color.. It's green.. one of my favorite colors. I used Ranger ink and sponged on a little green. I used Simon says die and Quick Quote scrap for the center piece. I used Taylored Expressions and another die and black card stock to cut the black part. I layered them three times. I used Simon Says bird and bow die to finished the layout. I added some green half pearls. The sentiment is from SS.

this is Day 8

 so below is my card

I picked up  the Jessica Lynn Originals Gnome image she had advertised on her blog for free. Isn't he cute with his cup of coffee.. I colored the image with copics. I used my white and black gel pen to add + and dots to his cloths.  I fussy cut him out. I used Hampton Art coffee background stamp and brown ink on kraft. I added the gnome and went over the coffee with some Nuvo drops in clear.

The image is called Bee Flower

I colored the image with copics. I used My favorite things circle die. I then took Simon Says honey comb die and Ranger ink and stamped the background. I then stamped the sentiment and used Copics to color in the BEE. I added the image on foam dots to the card and went over the flower, wings and black stripe with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

I got to chose the theme.. so it's 

ANYTHING GOES / OPT. AT LEAST 2 LAYERS

This fun image is called Connected.. With the stay at home and limited contact with people this is the in thing. Computer and phone calls.. I thought this image was fun and perfect. It's been a rough few months for so many of us all over the world.  Well for this card I colored her with copics. I then used a Simon says leaf stamp and Quick quote chalk ink and stamped off then stamped the wall behind her to give a wallpaper look. I then added her to some scraps of designer paper I had. I printed the image off quite big and probably should of printed her smaller so I could of used more interest with the layers. But I got in my at least 2 layers. I went over her head phones, computer top and shirt icon with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I really like the pink touch to her hair.

and I am using the image Prickly Little Dude

I colored the image with Copics. I then used Simon Says wonky die. I added this to a piece of card stock I thought went well with the colors. I stamped the My Favorite Things sentiment and using Spellbinder and Tech. Tues. banners cut them out and added to the card. I like the fun time you can do for that birthday where someone is turning 30 - 50 - 60.. You get the picture. This image is so cute.

this is Day 7 

 so below is my card

This card was so simple to create. I used Simon Says stamps. Two different sets. I first stamped the flowers and masking off the jar that the flowers are on the same stamp. I then masked the flowers and stamped the mug. I colored the image with copics and added some Spectrum Noir sparkle brush to the flowers and finished with a stamped banner and sentiment. I fussy cut it out and added Pretty Pink Posh jewels.

Hello.. Today is OBG - Oldie But Goodie day over at

Catch the bug

This is my card using the image called Cupcake Tower.. I colored the images with copics. I went parts with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added to a piece of green card stock. I dug through my scraps and found this pretty tiny flower print. I used Simon Says scallop border and added this to the side of the red scrap. I stamped the Denami Design vertical sentiment. I added all the pieces to the card front.

I have a card to share for the new challenge going on over at

Our theme is FLOWERS + SENTIMENT

I am using the image called Dahlia's.. I printed the butterflies two times and the flower three times and the bud one time.. I colored the images with copics and fussy cut them out. I took a white card base and stamped the Hero arts sentiment in green Stampin up ink. I then arranged the flowers and dug through my leaves box and found these three leaves. I think they are Stampin up. I then added them and the flowers to the card. I added the butterflies. I stamped the Simons Says sentiment in Stampin up ink and used a SU tag die went around the edge with Quick quote chalk ink.. and added this to the card. I went over the top flower and centers and two butterflies with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

this is Day 6 

 so below is my card

I dug through some scraps and using Spellbinder border die, Stamp simply coffee cup, Stampin up punch and leaf dies created my scene. I used my drywall mesh and Ranger ink to create the stenciled background. I added the elements to the card and added some gems to the center of the flowers and stamped with SU ink the Stamp simply sentiment.

this is Day 5 

 so below is my card

This is another fun card I made and had a good laugh. When I was digging through my stamps I saw this Your next stamp horse. So I stamped it and My favorite things Hay stack and Tech. Tues. coffee cup. I painted the hay stack and horse with Prima water colors. I colored the coffee cup with copics. I created the cloud and ground with Ranger ink and my homemade templates. I stamped the TT and MFT sentiments with Stampin up ink.

I'm nuts about my dad - Bugaboo Stamps New Release

Hello.. I have a card to share using a new image that is in the Bugaboo Store.

Called Nuts about my dad - boy

There is a girl and boy image. I chose to use the boy image.. It comes with the sentiment and I thought it would make a great father's day card so Stamped and heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment and used Tech. Tues. banner die. I colored the image with copics. I used Spellbinder rectangle die to cut out. This wood designer paper looked like a good choice for the background and helped with the manly part of the card. I finished with an epoxy heart.

Hello Crafty Friends.. We have a new challenge starting over at Crafty Sentiments.

Our theme this week is ANYTHING GOES

I am using the image called Henry-why not.. I thought this card would make a nice Father's day card. I colored the image with copics. I then used my cloud template and Ranger ink. I cut the piece down and added to a brown piece of card stock then this fun large dot designer paper. I thought it needed some banners so using Tech. Tues. banner die and scraps added some to the bottom. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment and called it done.

this is Day 4

 so below is my card

I laughed when I created this fun card. I first used my cloud and ground template and Ranger ink. I stamped the Tech. Tues. squirrel and painted with Prima watercolors. I stamped the Pretty pink posh coffee cup and painted and cut out. I stamped the Dylusions sentiment and Sugar pea "coffee" word. I used Comotions letters and created the "helps". I used corner chomper.

Hello.. I have another card to share for the new challenge over at Always Fun Challenge #164

Our theme this week is SUMMER FUN

This is my card. I am so ready for summer and sun. We have been having some nice weather. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment using Stampin up ink on a piece of Quick Quote scrap. I then used some other scraps and Simon Says bikini die and My favorite things sun. I stacked the suit 4 times to give them some depth and strength. I went over the sun with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added the pieces to the card front and added some stitch lines around the piece.

I have this awesome cupcake by Hero arts. I stamped it with Stampin up ink and added some Pretty pink posh espresso jewels. I stamped the Stampin up cup / cream and used SU ink. I added the Sugar Pea sentiment on a scrap. I used SU dots stamp and Ranger ink for the background. I like that it can be masculine or not.. Always need those masculine cards.

this is Day 2

 so below is my card

For this card I picked this beautiful purple card stock and using a large dot embossing folder ran it though my machine. I then took some scraps and Paper Trey ink die cut the large scallops, and Stamp Simply coffee cup. I layered the coffee cup three times. I had this fun Fred She Said image on my desk that I didn't use for another project I had and it was already colored with copics. I fussy cut it out and added to the card. I stamped the Stamp simply sentiment and used Stampin up tag die and finished with a twine bow.

I am using the image CoCo Caramel.. I know I didn't use Caramel colors but this spoke to me more.. I chose the My favorite things striped paper. Then colored the image with copics. I went over a few pieces of her outfit with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I added some gems to her shirt and the strings coming off her belt area. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment with Stampin up ink and cut it out. I used Lil inker die to cut the image out.

This fun image is Kitty you're perfect. I colored the image with copics. I used Taylored Expressions postage die and this fun Basic Grey designer paper. I would a piece of twine around the die and added an epoxy heart.
