This is my card.. I used three birds from Simon Says, 3 Stampin Up punched flowers, 3 in red 3 in rust color. The branch is from Altenew.. I used Ranger ink and my cloud and ground template. The sentiment is from My favorite things. I added bling to the flower centers. The birds were colored with Copics and then I went over the birds with Spectrum Noir brush.

Well.. It's almost 2020... that feels so weird typing that.. 2020...2020.. kinda fun..

I hope you all have a wonderful New Year and that 2020 will be a blessed year for you.

It's time for a new challenge over at

Always Fun Challenge #143

Our theme is NEW YEAR - 2020

So for my card.. I thought it could also be a anniversary card.. birthday card.. any celebration card.
I found this awesome designer paper that came in one of my Simon Says monthly kit. I liked the open area in the center. I then took Reverse Confetti cheers die and cut it out 4 times and layered them. I then repeated the bronze embossing till I got a nice rounded smooth coat.(the dp has bronze swishes.. you can kinda see it at the top of the card.. and where my watermark is that is also a broze swish.. the light for photo taking washes out the bronze look.) I took some glitter paper and RC wine glasses and die cut the papers. I then adhered them to a white die base and cut this about 3 times to get a sturdy wine glass. I love the glitter paper. I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh jewels..

This is PD relaxing.. I stamped the background using Stampin up ink and Simon Says leaf images. I colored the image with copics. I stamped the Club scrap sentiment and used My favorite things stitch die. I found this scrap of paper that worked great with the image. This is my motto for 2020..

One more card from the Christmas box I have from years ago Simon Says... I used the card base. I had this Merry Christmas sticker so added it. I added a piece of twine and stamped and copic colored the Simon Says Santa face. I went over his face, mustache and eye brows with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.

Our theme for our last day is a recipe: If possible use the Free Friday image that is provided today and the recipe below -

Keep it SIMPLE with 2 layers and ribbon or twine

This is the Free Friday image called Pop penguin Christmas present.. found two papers for the two layers so went with those colors to color the image. I used Lil inker die. I added some Stampin up gold cording and some gold ribbon along the side. The fun sentiment is from Lawn fawn. I went over the gold dots on the present with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

I am using the image called Bear Stocking image..  funny how when you use the colors they come out different on the computer. The blue on the stocking is really a lot darker in person.. Oh well. Anyhow I colored the image with copics, I used Simon says wonky die and sentiment using Stampin up ink. I added some Pretty pink posh jewels. I added this to green card stock.

Today is Day 4 of our Holiday Critter Chaos over at 

Catch the bug

Our theme today is

BINGO +  Using a critter and Christmas

This is the New release image called Christmas mouse light.. I chose the row.. Tree / Free (stencil) / Ribbon.. I started by using the Newton's nook stencil and I took texture paste and some Simon says glitter and mixed together and created the background. I set it aside to dry. I used Paper trey ink tree and DCWV paper and cut out the tree. I used Lil inker bow and added to the tree top. I used some gold ribbon around the tree and some sequins. I then colored the image with copics. I used glitter on the light center and Spectrum noir sparkle on the bulb. I fussy cut this out. I stamped the PTI sentiment and heat embossed. I used a banner die. I then added all images to the dried base.

I am using the image called Beary Merry Christmas circle image which can be found in the Bugaboo store.. I fussy cut the image into a circle and left a little tab at the top which I folded over and added a brad and twine. I colored the image with copics. I added some pom pom's to the hat. I added some Nuvo drops to the dots.

Our theme is SANTA CLAUS

I kept my card very quick and easy.. It is that time of the year for quick and easy. I stamped the Simon says image and colored with Prima watercolor paints. I cut the image out. I sent over the Santa beard and fun hat with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush. I used scraps  and heat embossed the SS sentiment. I used Paper trey ink die and mounted with foam strips Santa. I added some Stampin up gold twine.

I have this awesome snowflake background paper so used this for the scene. I used stickers I go a long time ago.. not sure where they are from. I used Simon Says hills die and my shinny silver looking paper to create the snow. I then added a Simon Says sentiment and added the cute sticker images.

It's Day 2 of the Holiday Critter Chaos over at

 use a holiday critter and the below SKITCH

This is my card using the above sketch.. I thought since the MIS Ornament Moose which can be found in the Bugaboo store.. that I would used the ornament little strip along with some scraps of red papers which are perfect for Christmas. I wanted to add a different color so went for the navy blue. I colored the image with copics. I heat embossed the Sugar pea designs sentiment and die cut out. I needed to add something long the right side like the sketch but wasn't finding what I wanted then saw the navy twine so I wrapped it around a ruler and tied into the bow. I really wanted that full bow look. I love how it turned out. I went over the ornaments with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush and his eyes.

We don't have a sponsor this month so we can use what ever image we wanted. So I went for my Pure innocence image from My favorite things.. I haven't used this in in like forever.. I colored the image with copics. I used Stampin up ink and Simon Says leaves and stamping off first i created the background. I then found this pink designer paper in a stash so added the image after I used MFT stitch die. I used Quick Quote pink and colored the paper and stamped the sentiment. I added a twine bow from My minds eye.

It's mid month reminder time for our challenge over at

Ok since I don't care for Shabby chic.. I tried to go more for a vintage look.. I have these awesome Penny Black stickers.. That's what the flower print is. I added this to a piece of blue card stock. I added a sticker scallop trim under the flowers. I didn't like the bland blue so I used Ranger inks and went around the edges. I then added some Petloo flowers and I stamped the sentiment on vellum and heat embossed the Simon Says sentiment in gold. I added this to the card. I love the ribbon cloth flowers they are so pretty. I also added a antique color brad to the center of the flower.

Well it's DAY 1 of our Holiday Critters Chaos

 over at Catch the bug

It's a week long fun filled themes so 

I hope you have time to play along. 

Our first theme is Holiday critter and SNOW..  I am using the image called Winter penguin trio which can be found in the Bugaboo store. I started by using a stencil and texture paste to create the falling snow background. I set it aside to dry. I then used copics and colored the image. I fussy cut the image out. I took some more of the texture paste and added to the ground to go along with the falling snow. I stamped the Paper trey ink and Simon says sentiments and heat embossed. I used a banner die. I added everything with foam tape.

This is Bear candy cane.. I colored the image with copics. I cut the image down and rounded the corners with the chomper. I found this awesome candy cane paper scrap. I wrapped some twine around the end and added this to the card base. I cut two banner pieces and went over them with Ranger ink. I stamped the Simon Says sentiment on each and added behind the image. I went over different parts with Spectrum Noir sparkle brush.

This is my Blue Christmas card using the image called Snowflake Penguin. I started by masking off my image and using Ranger ink and creating the background around him. I then colored the image with copics. I added some embossing powder to the snowflakes and then added a Pretty pink posh jewel to the centers. I stamped the sentiment from Taylored Expressions and punched out with a Stampin up punch and using some designer paper also punched the backing to the sentiment. I added the image to a piece of card stock then added to the pretty designer paper.
