For my card I used water color paper and stamped the Tech. Tuesday flower and sentiment. I then used my Altenew paints and painted the image. I added some ribbon to the card to pick up the colors. I went over the flowers once they were dry with Wink of Stella. I wish you could see the shiny flowers in person.

I am using the image called Morning frazzled Fran..  the sentiment is also from the same digi set. I added this to the cup image. I colored the image with copics and added some wink of stella to the coffee. I used My favorite things circle die cut her out. I took my dry wall tape and Ranger ink and created the background moving the tape around to get the area I needed colored. I added the image a little off center.  This is for sure a CAS card.. I hope I have inspired you to play along.

This image is called Winter bird house.  I colored the image with copics. I use my cloud template. I then stamped the Paper Pretties sentiment. I went over a few of the image pieces with Wink of Stella. I then layered this on a piece of DCWV designer paper. pretty simple and another Christmas card for this year.. woohoo..

Hello.. It's Monday and so over at Catch the bug

Anything But a Card Monday..

I have a tag to share..

 

 

This is my tag using the image called Candle Set. I started with a Tim Holtz tag. I then die cut some Paper Trey Ink numbers. I adhered them down and then with Distress crayon and Ranger ink I add the colors. I got it where I liked it so then I took glitter paper and My favorite things happy birthday die and adhered to the tag. I had this fun party hat so added this as if it was the dot for the i.. 

 I had some MFT balloons that I had colored up and sitting in a bowl on my table.. I added them I then took the three candles from Bugaboo and colored them with copics. I cut then out and apart and added two down on the lower right corner and one to the upper right. I added some glossy accents to the candle flames and some Wink of Stella.. I added some white gel pen highlights to different images. I love the fun look this tag has..

I started with a piece of Kraft and stamped the Taylored Expressions image and sentiment. I colored with pencils. I added some glossy accents to the eyes and tongue and hat top.  I added a ribbon. This was so fast to make and I think it's perfect for a birthday card for that little loving monster in your life..

Life is better when you laugh

This was a fun card to make.. I needed a laugh and it delivered... I chose another old wood rubber stamp this one is from Love you to bits... I have no idea what I was thinking when I bought this image many years ago.. but here it is and I think he looks cute now. I used Inktense water color pencils and kinda went with the rainbow colors and colored him in. I added glossy accents to the eyes, and three body parts that have the small circles (glossy is only on dots). I used a white gel pen for the teeth. I used a scrap piece of designer paper My favorite things stitch die and tied a piece of twine to one side. I added a Tech. Tues. sentiment and using a gelly pen added some dots and lines to the corners.  This is such a fun card and yes "Life is better when you laugh".

Hello and welcome to Bugaboo Free Friday..

This is the fun Free Friday image called Winter Eggbert..  I can always use another holiday card so that is what I went for. I started by using a Simon Says stencil and created the snow falling. I then used the Simons days hills die and added some more snow to the hills. I then colored the image with copics. I cut the image out with a circle die but wasn't liking the look so I fussy cut the image from side to side. That gave me now empty background.. hummm... I went to my Simon Says house dies and cut them out and using Ranger ink colored the houses and trees. I layered some scraps behind the houses to give color. Now I had a nice village behind Eggbert. I like it. I stamped the Paper trey ink sentiment. I went over some of the image with Wink of Stella. I then layered this on a piece of pink large dot embossed background.

This is my card using the image Amore Girl.. She is so cute and reminds me of two of my grand daughters.  I colored her with copics and then went over the gray hearts and her dress top with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I cut the image out using Simon Says wonky die. I stamped the Verve sentiment. I found this scrap of ribbon and tied it to the bottom of the card. I mounted this on a piece of Stampin up dark gray card stock.

This is my card using the image called Heart balloon girl.. I loved the sweet look she is giving the balloon who I feel is because she got it cause she's incredible or she's giving it to someone who's incredible.. I used my ground and cloud template and Ranger ink to create the background. I then colored the image with copics. I added some white dots and highlight on the balloon with white gel pen. I used a scrap piece that was a cut off from a water color piece I did a long time ago and stamped the sentiment. I used My favorite things stitch die to cut the image out. I layered on an embossed background I ran through my vagabond. I added some bling to the flower centers in her hair and wink of stella on the balloon and boots.

Oh my gosh.. I love this image.. The "O" look... is the name of the image.. I started with the pink background and using Reverse confetti and Versa mark ink I stamped the background. I went over the Simon says hearts with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I then colored the image with copics and cut the image leaving a small border. I added some Spectrum Noir sparkle to its eyes.  The sentiment is also from the RC set and using a stitch die from Stampin up I added this to the card.  What a fun card to create.

This image is called Winter bird 2.. I wanted a lots of snowflakes so thought I would used We R memory snowflake paper and then used a My favorite things arch die. I colored the image with copics and the sky and with a white gel pen I added some white dots of snow. I added the Paper trey ink sentiment. I added to top layer using some foam strips. I like the depth.

Welcome back to another challenge at Always Fun challenge

Our theme is Wedding or Anniversary

 I decided to make an anniversary card..  I seldom go to weddings so thought anniversary was more useful.

 For my card I chose another image from Tech. Tuesday. I stamped the image on some pink card stock and colored the flower with copics. I stamped the butterfly on some turquoise card stock and colored with pencils. I love the way it came out. I used the dies to cut out. I took a piece of gray Stampin up card stock and using Versa mark ink and Hero arts script stamp and stamped the background and layered this onto another piece of the pink used for the flowers. I stamped the sentiment that was in the set and using Stampin up ink and stitch oval die cut it out. I added some bling and called it done.

I was still testing Marvey markers on old wooden stamps so came up with another card. 

This is my card. I chose an old Holly Berry House rubber stamp and Marvey markers and glossy card stock.. I brushed the stamp with the markers and huffed on it and stamped it on the glossy paper.. it's been ages since I have done this. I like the look.. I then cut it out and mounted this on the black. I heat embossed the Denami designs happy birthday - I love the vertical sentiment. I then added the flower to the base and added some strips of bling down the side. I liked this because it has the teal/purples in it. It's kinda a opal look to it. So it goes really well with this image.

Today's theme is Photo Inspiration.. I used the Free Friday Bugaboo image. It pretty much has the images in the photo.. I just colored them different with copics. I went over a few of the pieces with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.  I used this background paper as it reminded me of cake layers..  The sentiment is from Local King and I used My favorite things banner dies. I added a few colorful sequins.

I found this scrap of  paper in my scrap container..  Perfect. It's different greens, blues and a small strip if burgundy. So burgundy is my one other color.. this image is called hole in one by Dr. Digi's.
I colored him with copics. I added some grass and using my cloud template and Ranger ink created the sky. I stamped the Verve sentiment and added a little white gel pen to the image. I used My favorite things stitch die and added him to the dp. 
 What a fun image to play bring to life.

 Colour Crazy challenge.

We don't have a sponsor this time but we have blog candy.. who doesn't love candy?? I would rather have dark chocolate candy or caramel .. but I am pretty sure this is craft products candy..

 

 

Digging through some old stamps I found the red rubber that wasn't even cut up yet.. it's a set I won years ago.. I decided to cut the image out and create. The image and sentiment is from Wag N Whiskers..  I stamped the image and colored with copics. I then found some scraps that were nice and bright and pieced the background. I stamped the sentiment. When it was done the background to the image looked too white so got my Stampin up itty bitty set and stamped the dots. I used a white gel pen to the fish paper and dress.

What great colors for a fun birthday..

I created my card using the image called Monster 4 block which can be found in the Bugaboo store.

I found this stripe background paper which pretty much worked with the color challenge. I used copics and colored the image the challenge colors. I used Stampin up ink and stamped the Paper trey ink Happy birthday and the SU three hearts. I went over the hearts and monster eyes with Spectrum Noir sparkle pen. I added some banners to the card front and using the dollar store google eyes added a few.

I am using the fun image called I (heart) U.. I colored the image with copics and then used my cloud template for the sky. I went over the I and U with Wink of Stella to give some glitter and then added some adhesive to the heart and sprinkled on some glitter.. It's has quite the sparkle. I used My favorite things stitch die. I mounted this onto a piece of black card stock then mounted this on a piece of designer paper that has a lot of sparkle to it.
