Saturday February 25, 2012 New challenge at Catch the bug http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/ this one with a twist - 'HEARTS-LACE-PEARLS' This should be fun I don't often use lace so that was a challenge but I did it. I can't wait to see what y'all come up with.

I used a lot of scraps, I had this paper from a couple years ago just a small scrap and you know paper crafters we just know some day well use it.. will that day came and I used it.. same with the lace it was a scrap. I knew saving that day would come.. at least I'm pretty organized so know where those things are. ; )

This card really brought a great smile the whole time I was working on my card and I got this new fence die from PTI and had to use it.. The image is from Catch the bug http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/ Stella, she is a hoot.. I think we all have a stella in us somewhere and can identify with her.. This sketch the background paper has flowers on it and I kind of wanted it to look like a garden behind the fence but with the sentiment and all it kind of got covered up but I really like how it came out. challenges:

Tuesday February 14, 2012 Happy Valentine's day ..Hope everyone has a great day with their loved ones.. today is our 30th wedding anniversary.. awhhh... He is the love of my life and I have known my dh for 48 years.. we dated in high school but he lived in Oregon state and I live in Washington state so it was hard and after he moved to WA. we hooked up again and rest is history.. What a great supportive guy. He enables my craft/addiction to my craft. got to love that. Good morning it's the day for new release at Paper Pretties - Tea rose and Flourette http://paperprettiesblog.blogspot.com/ and just in time for Valentine's day and having digi's they are instant gratification. I love that you can get digi's pretty much as soon as you buy them vs. waiting for FedX or UPS to come.. I love digi's for that reason and being able to size them to what I need at the time, plus now Paper Pretties have sentiments that go along with the image that is also a plus and again being able to size for that right punch or place to tuck a sentiment in.

Take a look at the design teams cards for inspiration and leave some love..we all love your comments.


Today I chose to use Flourette image and words.. This can be used for valentines day or a I'm sorry or just love.. I think she is so cute in the vase.. how funny. Don't forget the challenge is to use flowers..

She is another cute image from Catch the bug. The circles in the left top corner are hole enforcer you get at the office supply stores, I stamped small images/words on them and then sponged with ranger inks while still on the sticky papers then I just use them when needed. I thought it kind of added a nice touch using the brown circle under and a half pearl in the center.

Well It's Monday and you know what that means. New release day at Paper Pretties AND challenge with the theme PINK, RED & WHITE... http://paperprettiesblog.blogspot.com/ New release means two darling images but you get loads of sentiments to go along with them.. That is a great plus as sometimes you just don't have the right sentiment and being digi you can size to what you want.. I love digi's for that reason alone. This is Cheri. I tried to find pinks and reds that went well together. Boy some reds have some orange in them and just don't work but being a paper hoarder I had what was needed. LOL

This is my calendar page.. A small group of us girls three of us from the west coast and a couple from WI make a few pages. I chose February and June (which you'll have to wait till June to see) this way I get two calendars, one for home and one for work. I love seeing their page for the whole month. They are all so cute and so different. They all bring smiles to me and I'm reminded who made them so that makes the person in my thoughts and on my mind all month long.

OK who on the west coast heard the loud WOOHOO YIPPEE last month.. It was me!! I made it on the design team for Catch the bug, bugaboo.. I have wanted to be on the design team for quite some time and got a taste of it being a guest designer for Oct/Nov 2011.. Well they asked me if I wanted to join the team permanently.. OH yea I do duh... So as of February 2012 I get to play with the darling images from Catch the bug, Bugaboo... Not like I dont already.. but now bigger excuse to.
